Self tape May 2021. Oh my God. I just rhymed so much. I don't even know what to do with how excited I am about that.

So hi, everyone. So many congrats to all of you who are just trucking along and kicking butt in self tape May. I'm so excited to have so many different kinds of actors contributing from all over the world.

It's so exciting. We've got musical theater actors. We've got commercial actors. We've got theater theater actors. We've got television actors. We've got everybody. We've got people in London. We've got people in France.

We've got people in Sweden. We've got people in Germany. We've got people in South America. Like Canada. What's up? I'm just so happy that all of you are contributing. And if you have not started yet, fear not.

Get it done. I promise you just get the ball rolling. Just call a friend and say, Hey, I want to get going on this self tape May situation.

You want to just do a few with me this week. Like you want to just like do maybe like a couple even and just see what you can do. If you can get any done, it is a huge win.

And I just want you to know I totally understand when it's hard because working on auditions, working on them when they're not real.

And just for practice and they're not for a class or a workshop or something like that. I know that that's hard. It's a lot to get it done and do it.

But I promise you, once you get the momentum going, you are going to feel so good and you will be a part of the group that gets this work done.

And then comes out feeling like, Oh my God, I can't believe I did that. And then this time next year, you will have seen your career grow so much.

And you will know that it is attributed to the work that you did and the commitment that you made to this time, this practice right now. So get it.

I love Jamie. She is so fantastic. And we just have this really honest conversation about self tape may practicing for commercials.

We are really welcoming and developing the commercial actor into the self tape may fold this year and every year, but this year as really commercials and self tapes are here to stay.

Every one we talk to says that's not going away. And so really, if you are a commercial actor or if you want to, you know, begin your commercial career, adding some commercial sub tapes is really important understanding what that world is like and how you sell a product without looking like you're
