Now, was his escape some Shawshank Redemption style breakout 20 years in the making?

He escaped from prison by hiding in the suitcase of another inmate who was being released legally.

That's it.

And it worked.

Now, last week, a woman named Svetlana Dali.

She was sentenced to time served.

What was her crime?

Well, she's one of the repeat stowaways who illegally hitches rides on commercial flights.

And she is neither the first nor the last person to do so.

A guy in Philadelphia, he managed to sneak onto a flight there.

He was caught.

And in addition to one-year probation, he owes American Airlines

$60,000. Now, essentially, the stowaways were attempting to smuggle themselves. And frankly,

I would think that airports deal with more smuggling attempts than anywhere else on Earth.

Drugs, money, gold, most recently, tarantulas, and not a few tarantulas.
