Now, I live in Los Angeles, and LA City Council, city government is particularly noted for absolute complete corruption.

We have some of the most corrupt individual city council people.

As a matter of fact, there is a, according to the Department of Justice, there is an office for public corruption, public corruption task force here that has more people that are looking for corruption in LA City politics and county politics than you could ever imagine.

So the latest episode is in the city of Los Angeles,

Councilman Current Price was charged with multiple counts of embezzlement, perjury,

conflict of interests.

And this is the district attorney's office, by the way.

This isn't even the feds yet.

He is accused of embezzling government funds, perjury, conflict of interest,

and he writes a letter to the council president.

Usually you would think that they would resign.

They don't anymore.

What happens is he announced to step down as president pro tem of the council, surrendering all of his committee assignments, but will not resign from the council. We had another one who was caught up in a whole racist scheme and racist rants who also is not resigning.

And then, of course, he writes a letter and its typical pap.

While I navigate through the judicial system to defend my name against unwarranted charges filed against me,

the last thing I want to do is be a distraction to the people's business.

He ends up writing, he looks forward to having the opportunity to continue to be a strong

voice for our culturally rich South Central and part of our city.

There's been long, disenfranchised, overlooked, and forgotten.

He happens to be a very popular guy in his district.

And what ends up happening is there was a, well, I think gone now.

This was a, it was a councilman.
