All right, so we're talking about cultivating what matters with kids around a loaded question

in the summer is how do we do that? But first, let's share something that's helping us live

intentionally right now. Emily, what is it for you? All right, mine is a little nerdy, so get ready.

It is a New York Times Crossword puzzle book, and yes, it has to be a New York Times version.

Like many people, my husband and I were looking for an activity that would occupy us,

but also be restful, and that specifically was screen-free. Something we could do in the evenings

instead of scrolling, and the Crossword puzzle book has been perfect. We keep it on our coffee

table, in our family room, and it's easy to just pick it up and put it down if we have a

few spare minutes because it's right there. But I also love that it gives me something to do while

my kids are playing nearby. I can let them do their own thing, but still be available, and it's not

my phone, which is important to me to model to them. So hopefully I'm also getting a little smarter
