Hi, everybody. I'm Audrey Moore with Audrey Help Sactors and this is episode number 66. Look

0:07.8

into fix. You're acting career in 2021. While you're still in quarantine, wherever you

0:15.6

are, there's so much that you can do. Today we have Melvin Diggs on, oh, sweet hero of my

0:23.2

heart, Melvin Diggs. He's so amazing. He won some of the contests and competitions that

0:29.8

happened that casting directors had held over the beginning of the quarantine. He is such a hard

0:37.0

worker. He is so humble. He's so gracious. He's really hard on himself, but in a way that gets

0:42.4

him to really get things done. I have seen him over the last several years at any of the live

0:47.8

events that I would have. He's super active on social media. He's just like a get it done

0:53.0

whatever it takes, kind of guy. And you know, I love that. So today we talk about Melvin's successes

0:59.5

over the last couple of years. He really started listening to the podcast and adhering to the

1:05.2

self-taped practice, watching his auditions transform, watching himself just start booking and

1:11.0

getting some recognition, and then also having some bumps along the way. And we talk about those

1:16.3

bumps. You know, I'm all about transparency with the bumps. So we talk about that. It's a really

1:21.2

heartfelt and inspiring, honest episode about what it takes to really get some traction in this

1:28.4

town. I also want to shout out your Apple podcast reviews, formerly known iTunes. Jesse

1:34.8

isn't letting me say iTunes. I only have to say Apple podcast reviews now because apparently

1:39.3

iTunes doesn't exist. So Apple podcast reviews, I just want you guys to know. When you give me

1:47.7

an Apple podcast review, it's like somebody saying, Audrey, I'm going to drive you to the ocean

1:55.8

today. I'm going to set up a tent for you to hang out in it and just watch the ocean and by the way,

2:02.5

the dolphins are coming. That's how exciting and relieving your iTunes reviews are to me.

2:08.5

Really, truly, I get a lot of emails and I'm so grateful for them for those of you on Instagram

2:13.6

or emails who are sending me a big thank you. I love and appreciate that thanks and you know,
