Hi everybody, it's Joe Lample, the Joe Behind Joe Gardner, and welcome to the Joe Gardner

Show.

Today's podcast is a timely departure from our established editorial calendar because

I think we need to talk about this subject right now because so many of us are going through,

some degree of it at this very time of year, especially at least here in the US, yet no

matter where you are in the world, few are immune to this.

And I'm talking about dealing with those times that you find yourself feeling a little

or a lot overwhelmed in your garden, like there's so much you feel that needs to be done.

You don't even know where to begin.

I get it.

But take comfort in knowing that you're not alone.

A lot of gardeners feel this way, and I too share that same feeling sometimes.

Now for the most part, we keep a pretty tight editorial calendar here on what shows were

recording next, and it's not unusual to really have almost an entire year mapped out in advance

for each week's upcoming show.

However, this week, I decided to call an audible over the weekend.

I was helping a friend manage their overwhelming garden to try and help beat back the wild

and reclaim some of that space.
