Hi guys. So it's no secret by now that I love me some Lena Dunham. I think she's humble,

0:08.3

authentic, and an amazing artist. And as much as I love me some personal growth, wellness,

0:15.4

spirituality, I also love pop culture too. And for a while, I wouldn't really allow myself that or I viewed it as

0:24.8

a waste of time or something wrong in a weird way. But I actually think it's really important to

0:30.2

be balanced by the things going on in the world. And it's all the lens in which you view it in.

0:36.6

insignificant events and happenings in my own life. Number two, by reading about the events

1:26.6

and circumstances from Lena's life and childhood as

1:30.6

someone from my generation, I can not only relate, but use what she drew attention to as

1:37.0

inspiration to acknowledge the events that have impacted me without me being aware.

1:43.1

Number three, it makes me feel like I'm not alone in my weirdness,

1:47.3

struggles, awkwardness, and imperfection since someone else from my generation has vocalized

1:53.1

what we all go through in our own unique ways. Number four, since she's shared her story at the level of raw honesty that she does, it gives me

2:04.5

permission and inspires me to share with that same level of authenticity too.

2:11.9

Number five, she is talented at being extremely self-aware of the gravity of the situation she's having

2:20.2

almost simultaneously to going through them.
