Today's Monday, June 28th, 2021.

And we begin with an epic fail for a fan of the Tour de France bike race.

A spectator holding a giant cardboard sign meant to encourage riders was paying more attention

to nearby television cameras than the pack of stage one peddlers coming in hot.

Video shows the woman with one foot in the road, her head turned and the sign sticking

into the raceway when one of the cyclists plowed into it and fell.

The result was a chain reaction pile up involving dozens of riders.

Some eventually rejoined the event, three others threw in the towel.
