It is Thursday, June 24th, 2021, and we begin with a decisive victory for a Pennsylvania

teenager who fought her school district all the way to the Supreme Court.

Back in April, we told you about Brandy Levy who got bounced from her school's cheer squad

over a colorfully worded Snapchat about not making varsity.

Brandy had posted to the site while off campus on a Saturday and only to her friends.

Yesterday in an eight to one decision, the court sided with the now 17 year old, saying

her words were protected by the first amendment and throwing her off the team violated those

rights.
