Good morning and welcome to Kid News. I'm Kim. Today is Thursday June 20th, 2019 and we begin

with every high school student's worst nightmare. Somehow Pinecrest High School in Moore County, North Carolina lost the ACT

college entrance exams of its entire junior class, 440 students in all.

The tests were taken on February 20th and March 13th.

By last week when scores still weren't posted, parents started to ask questions, as did the

school. And that's when the ACT told Pinecrest it can't score what it doesn't have.

The high school investigated and sure enough someone in the district dropped the ball

and never sent the answer sheets in for grading.

Now all affected students will have to retake the 3 plus hour test in the fall

hopefully in time for early admissions deadlines.

The NBA draft takes place tonight

at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn,

where teams will select those they hope will become future stars of the game.

The New Orleans pelicans get first pick,

and in what should surprise no one will likely choose Williamson.

Murray State Guard, J. Moran, is expected to go second to the Memphis Grizzlies and

rounding out the top three is Duke forward R.J Barrett who will probably get selected by the New York
