Boy, is this an absolutely no case story?

Now, today, in this day and age, the lawsuits against entities, individuals too, but mainly entities.

What am I talking about?

The Boy Scouts of America, the Girlstouts of America, the Catholic Church, the counties, the cities, all have to do with a lot of them have to do with sex abuse, sex abuse claims. And what ends up happening is most of the time the lawsuit fails because of the statute of limitation. It happened a long time ago.

It may have happened 30 years ago. And of course, there's no statute. I mean, it's gone. Or the statute has kicked in. No case.

Well, in many jurisdictions, for example, state of California has opened up the statute.

For example, in sex abuse cases,

and I even think either to see LA County or the state

has opened up the time in which a lawsuit can be filed

for one year, and that lawsuit, there's no statute now,

it goes back, it can go back 30, 40 years, someone

could be 70 years old and argue molestation at the age of 10, and the statute will not preclude

the lawsuit. And so these claims are going crazy because we now know that a lot of the sex abuse suppresses people from coming

out and finally dealing it.

Because people, women particularly tend to suppress it for years and years and years and

years and then something clicks.

They go into therapy and out it comes.

And it's, as you can imagine, really

damaging to human beings, to say the least. So because of that, the statutes have been

eliminated, in this case for one year, you can go back and then we'll see what happens in the
