2025. And we begin with residents along the Gulf and East Coast of the United States about to spend a

whole lot more time checking the weather. Why? Because the Atlantic hurricane season

is officially here. It began yesterday with NOAA forecasters predicting an above-average number of

storms over the next six months. The good news, sea temps aren't quite as warm as they were this

time last year. Still, 13 to 19 big enough to get a name, weather

systems are expected, with three to five turning into major events. This year's alphabetical

list, as set by the World Meteorological Organization, begins with Andrea, Barry, Chantal, and

Dexter. Storm names repeat every six years unless they're associated with a particularly

devastating hurricane. Those get retired, like Beryl, Helene, and Milton did last year. In all,

One youngster found out the hard way.

While his mother was talking to a ticketing agent at Newark Airport in New Jersey last week,

the unidentified boy climbed onto a conveyor belt, which pulled him behind a wall and into a maze of other conveyor belts.

It only took moments for the mom to realize he was gone and for Port Authority police to jump into action.

According to the Daily News, they caught up with him just before he reached the X-ray machine

and took a possible plunge with the rest of the bags.
