I've been in a couple leadership positions over the years and I found it's sometimes hard for a leader to have friends.

And do you really need friends to be an effective leader?

It'd be a lot more efficient if you didn't.

That's true. Well, first of all, yes, you do. But I think it is hard.

This is something that I've struggled with myself and honestly have not always prioritized.

In fact, it's something that I'm really focusing on this year and my goals.

One of my goals this year was to start or host a small group of other couples from our church.

And that actually kicked off this past weekend. And it was so interesting.
