Well, he does actually. He talks about how their childhood trauma has likely made them highly

traumatised, damaged individuals that certainly shouldn't be running societies. And he does

name names. It's one of the most revered thinkers on the psychology of addiction. This is off the

back of his book. I'm ridden. He's radical findings of reframing how we all view human development.

It is actually a matter of fact. As a matter of fact, because he was able to apply the,

what I want to say, the framing of addiction to all kinds of social models. It was a bit like

sort of how Jordan Peterson uses psychiatry, psychology and his understanding of psychological

research to frame social and political interviews. Although I would say that Gabo Mate's worldview is

much more optimistic, benevolent, loving, perhaps, and you know that Jordan Peterson is a person

that's been on this podcast and who I enormously enjoy on a personal level. So this, I think,

is an interesting, informative, exciting, dense, intense podcast on the subject of addiction

and on the subject of how we can cope as damaged people in the world and we're all damaged people
