And the So it's very rare that my wife actually calls me at work. So when she does, it always

gives me a moment to pause. It's very disconcerting. My phone rings and on the other side is silence, but I can hear that she's weeping.

So immediately I'm thinking I've done something wrong.

Somehow I've screwed up something and I don't even know I'm searching in my brain like,

So I very cautiously ask her,

To give you a little context here, my oldest son, he's 14 years old, and he recently applied out of his school to go to boarding school on the East

Coast. Now we went through a lot of trouble to apply to several schools, but he had his heart set on this one school in particular.

We went through numerous interviews, wrote essays, filled out the application,

we even flew to the East Coast to tour the school.

As I explained this to my wife, this was the outcome we were hoping for.
