And we begin with maybe, just maybe, one more chance to catch a super rare Technicolor sky show.

The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, have been a lot less northern than usual

the past few days, coloring the night skies as far south as Florida, Texas, and Alabama.

There were also reports of sightings in Germany, England, and Spain.

And now federal forecasters tell NBC News that this massive light show could linger above parts of the US until tomorrow.

Typically, auroras are only visible around the North Pole and Arctic regions,

but this one is more widespread because of bigger than normal solar flares and coronal mass
