Tesla Podcast. My name is Rob Mower. Today we are talking more

about the Q1 earnings report. Tesla stock on the day finished down 5.55% to $284.45

this compared to the NasdDAQ down 0.18.

That 284.45 price the Tesla closed at was down about 1% from where Tesla finished the

after our session at yesterday after the earnings report.

Unless tomorrow is a really solid day for Tesla stock,

I'll probably miss on my prediction of the stock being back

above 300 by the end of the week.

I will just move that out one week, though.

I still think it'll rebound here pretty quickly.

I wasn't really thinking about the fact that options will expire tomorrow, so every time

you have an earnings report on that Friday, you're going to have a lot of interest in the

options that expire that Friday.

That can have an impact on the stock price because it can create an incentive to keep the stock price locked at a certain number or within a certain range to maximize the value that is captured from those options expiring.

And that's not to say that's the only factor influencing the stock price

because certainly that is not the case.

However, it can have some influence.

But my point is that after reflecting on it

and reviewing some of the details more today,

I'm still feeling confident in Tesla and the ability of Tesla stock to rebound here pretty quickly,

given that the macro environment is not overly negative.
