| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to the Friday May 4th 2018 edition of Tesla Daily Unofficial Tesla Podcast. |
| 0:12.3 | My name is Rob Maurer. Today we are continuing our discussion |
| 0:14.5 | on the Q1 earnings report. Tesla's stock on the day finished up 3.39% to $294.9 cents, |
| 0:21.2 | this compared to the Nasdac up 1.71%. So we didn't quite make it back to that 300 level, |
| 0:26.0 | but it is still nice to see that fall after the earnings report now ending and trending back up. |
| 0:30.0 | All right, so when we left off yesterday, we are at the point in the earnings call |
| 0:33.7 | where Galileo got to ask his questions. |
| 0:35.8 | I think since we made it this far, I'll just keep going kind of question by question here and |
| 0:39.0 | giving my thoughts. |
| 0:39.9 | The first question was around Tesla Network and possibly the timing of |

| 0:51.9 | would have hoped that Elon would have talked more about how Tesla is |
| 0:54.4 | positioned relative to its competition in this space. He did reiterate that Tesla is still feeling really good |
| 0:59.3 | about their strategy here and the progress that they are making towards full self-driving. |
| 1:03.0 | Again, stating that the hardware that they have should be capable of full autonomy |
| 1:06.4 | with the potential caveat of having to maybe upgrade the compute power if necessary. |
| 1:11.0 | Regarding timing, from a technical standpoint, Elon thinks the |
| 1:14.1 | Tesla will be ready towards the end of next year. I think at this point we have to |
| 1:17.7 | take that with a pretty big grain of salt and then he expounded upon the |
| 1:21.8 | regulatory challenges. |
