It's always about recognizing God's greatness, his wonderful deeds.

I don't have to wait for a circumstance to change in order to give thanks.

It's the day before Thanksgiving.

Are you cleaning the house?

Driving to see family?

My goal today is to encourage you in gratitude. As believers, we have so much to be thankful

for, but it's not always easy to give thanks, right? Today, I'm just going to read some scriptures

over both of us all at once, kind of like I did this past summer. If you listen to our

Summer Fruit of the Spirit series,

you'll recognize this format. I love it because it helps us focus on the Word of God and

helps us redirect our thoughts. So here we go. Sing to the Lord, all the earth,

tell of his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the nations. His marvelous works among all the peoples.

For great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, and he is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens.

Splendor and majesty are before him. Strength and joy are in his place. Behold, God is my salvation.

I will trust and will not be afraid. For the Lord God is my strength and my song,

and he has become my salvation. With joy, you will draw water from the wells of salvation,
