And I think when kids get in fights, the first thing that happens is you want to go your own way, right?

It's like just go off into your corner, do your own thing, draw a line in your room so you don't have to share things.

We never did that.

We just actually said, okay, well, even if we have an extra bedroom, stay

roommates here because it helps you grow and learn to share and to be part of each other's

lives.

I could hardly believe it. I'm so grateful that you've joined me here all year long at this podcast,

and I thought I'd wrap up this year with a little Q&A and ask me anything, because throughout the

year you all send in questions sometimes you give suggestions for

topics you'll dm me with questions and can't always get to all of them so i thought i put a bunch of

them together i can't get to all of them but i'll put a bunch of them together in an ask me anything

episode so that's what today is and hopefully I get to some of your burning questions,

but if not, I'll hit them another time as well. So first of all, to kick things off, just first

all, I want to say, you all sent in a lot of parenting questions. Not surprising, considering

I'm a mama to six and six boys, In answering any question, whether I'm doing a

Q&A or I'm on a panel at an event, I always want to just make it clear that when I share from

my experience, I'm not claiming to be an expert at anything, and we're all different. However, I do think that we are

wise to glean from those who have walked a few steps ahead of us. And so I am thankful that you

ask parenting questions because when I was a young mama, when my kids, all six boys,

were a little younger, I certainly wish that I could ask a lot of questions to people who
