A rare smiley face is set to light up the sky around 5.30 a.m. Eastern. As Venus, Saturn, and the moon will briefly align offering what will look like

a grin for about an hour near the eastern horizon. According to popular science, Venus will be

the higher of the two eyes, Saturn the lower, and the thin crescent moon will be the mouth. And while

you're gazing, you might also get a glimpse of this week's Lyrid Meteor Shower.

Visible through Saturday, NASA says the best way to view the Lirids is to lie on your back with your feet facing east and look up.

Viewers can typically spot up to 18 meteors per hour, but this year, light from the waning crescent moon will make it trickier to see them.

The Lirids are a light clockwork meteor shower that makes an appearance every April

when Earth passes through the dusty debris of a comet named Thatcher.

Tonight begins the event every up-and-coming football player dreams about.

It's the NFL draft, and, for the first time in its 90-year history, it's taking place at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the home of the Green Bay Packers.

The Tennessee Titans hold the first overall pick.

The Cleveland Browns are second, followed by the New York Giants.

Expected to go first, quarterback Cam Ward from the University of Miami.
