Well, one of the ways that people who are here illegally can be able to stay and apply for a green card as marrying an

American. Just marry an American citizen. And with that, there's a case here in Los Angeles,

four Philippine nationals living in L.A., sentenced for their roles in an $8 million scheme that

arranged more than 600 fake marriages for green cards,

claiming that these undocumented clients were abused by the American spouses. That is the basis,

and that can be the basis of granting asylum. Certain things, persecution in your home country, where your life is in danger, for religious persecution, spousal abuse. I mean, it goes on and on. Not economic, not to your economic detriment. That doesn't fly. You're starving to death, too bad. You know,

you crawl across the border with no food for five days. I'm sorry, you can't do it. However,

spousal abuse, that flies. Okay, so these four Filipino nationals who are here legally, I don't know if they're American citizens or not, set up this agency had an office in L.A.
