Oh man, what's going on at the Texas-Mexican border?

You've got the governor, Greg Abbott, who is doing everything he can to stop the flow of illegal, undocumented immigrants going across the border.

And even though the numbers are down, it's record-breaking this year or certainly last year.

Okay, so he passes a law. Legislature passes a law that says the state can enforce the border by any illegal immigrant crumbling across.

They can be thrown out, and a state judge can deport them.

Well, the feds immediately fight that one saying,

hey, we determine what happens at the border. Now it's going back and forth. And you've got

the state judges, going up federal judges, actually, who are saying, no, you can't do that.

Then the appeals court says, no, well, maybe you can. Then it goes to Supreme Court who says,

well, we're going to let the bill actually be implemented. We're going to stay in place until we

decide whether it's going to later on be enforced. And by the way, let's kick it down to the

appeals court and they make a decision.

So it's going back and forth. But so these lawsuits are being filed. And now you've got

another brief filed with the fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that deals with that area.

Now, keep in mind, I went to the court,

Supreme Court, who then kicked it down to the appeals court because the state went directly to

Supreme Court. And they said, nope, nope, nope, you guys hear it. And then we'll talk about it. Okay.

So now you have lawsuits going back and forth, particularly the federal government against the state of Texas.

And they're trying to, the feds are trying to determine, trying to ask the court, hey, let us deal with the border.

This is not a state issue.

Okay.

So now the parties themselves file briefs, that state of texas federal government there's something

...
