Interesting story. Well, I don't know how interesting it is, but it's no surprise.

One of the things about particularly California is we, both by way of legislation with our

legislator and legislature and some propositions that we have passed, the latest being

Prop 109, that decreases the severity of felonies to misdemeanors and misdemeanors that are not enforced.

Our prisons are too crowded, although some are empty, because people are being led out of prisons.

It's that simple.

Misdemeanors that would normally go to prison, and that is state prison, well, the prisons have,

they had to release the prisoners, so they moved them over to county, because if you do a year or less,

the system can move you to a county facility opposed to a state prison and the county facilities

don't have the rooms they just kick the can down the road and so all these prisoners are being

released and the crimes are being uh have been reduced some from felonies to misdemeanors

and the uh dAs are not enforcing because they're overwhelmed.

And those prisons and county are so crowded that prisoners who, for example, get six

months are out in a week or a year are out in two months.

In cases like disasters like aid, they don't even go to prison.

It's house arrest.

So with that in mind, the obvious has happened.
