Ah, California.

Occasionally, I'll tell you about how California has gone a little squirrely for California when it comes to certain rights.

It's an at-will state, for example, at-will work state,

so you get fired for any reason whatsoever, rather unusual.

But usually California is super liberal,

and what a shocker this one is.

There is a state center, my name of Caroline,

Menjivar.

She's a Democrat.

What a shocker on this one, too.

And she introduced legislation that would require all public high schools in California to provide free condoms,

free condoms to students starting next year.

And the bill would also cover the cost of human papillomavirus or HPV vaccinations for children under 18.

Because most everybody has HPV.

HPV for women is particularly difficult because HPV causes infertility.

And there is a huge number of victims of HPV, sexually transmitted, and there are no symptoms.

So this is Senate Bill 541, which aims to reduce pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases or sexually transmitted infections

and some stats young people huge increase in sexually transmitted diseases and youth of color blacks

Hispanics etc have been disproportionately affected by these high rates of infections.

So, as you can imagine, the conservatives are going out of their minds, saying, as it's always said,

whenever you're doing anything relating to protection, sexual protection, birth control, doesn't matter,
