This is Handel on the Law, marginal legal advice, where I tell you you have no case.

The politics of the United States is breaking down fairly easily to ascertain.

Red states, blue states, and about a mile and a half chasm between the two.

You've got California, where I live, super liberal at the forefront of, quote, progressive

politics, which a lot of people think are just insane left wing.

And you have the red states, which are conservative, very conservative politics,

which a lot of people think are insane on the right

wing. So here's another right wing, a conservative move. And that is in Tennessee.

All right. Tennessee just passed a bill which the governor in fact signed saying that drag shows can't be in public or in front of children.

And the LGBTQ folks are rather upset because not, I think, they disagree that drag shows in front of kids is at least questionable.

And you can open it up and out in public.

I mean, you know, concert in the park, for example, in New York.

Drag shows in the park? I don't know.

But the point is that the government of Tennessee, the legislature says, we got to protect kids and and we don't want these shows in public,

because I'm assuming kids can go there.

Okay, that makes sense on its face.

By the way, I don't know of any kids that go to drag shows.

I don't think they allow children in drag shows, and I've never heard of a drag show out in public,

but I can understand where they're going.

And this is a straight out,

according to the LGBTQ folks, a straight out attack on the gay community, the trans community.

So they pass it, and we'll see what happens because the backlash is going to be, it's going to go back and forth.
