| 0:27.7 | And I for one am going to join the Psalmist and I am going to rejoice and be glad in it because God has given it to me as a gift. |

| 0:53.0 | We hear a lot in the entrepreneurial space especially about practicing gratitude. |
| 0:59.0 | Gratitude and they'll say you need to find things in your life you're grateful for and say them |
| 1:05.8 | out loud to yourself every day and it resets your mind and it helps you not be pessimistic |
| 1:10.8 | but rather be optimistic and be be appreciative but if you notice the |
| 1:16.7 | word grateful does not imply anybody else involved in the things that you're being grateful for. |
| 1:25.0 | They're just things that are present in your life and you're grateful. |
| 1:28.0 | There's nothing wrong with that. |
| 1:30.0 | But I want to point out that for a Christian, a follower of Christ, there needs to be an added component to that. |
| 1:36.0 | And it's what I would call thankfulness. Because thankfulness implies someone else to be thankful toward. Does that make sense? |
| 1:46.7 | There's someone to thank for what has come into your life. And we know who that is. |
| 1:52.2 | That's God the Father through Jesus Christ who has |
| 1:54.8 | given us so much so I don't necessarily want to challenge you to be grateful today |
| 2:00.0 | as the first step toward getting your mindset right, I want to challenge you to be thankful. |
