Good morning my brothers and sisters this is Carrie Green. I guess you could think of me as kind of a life coach or a business pastor. I don't know if either of those

titles really fit. I'm just a believer in Christ who God has called into his family and is gifted to be of an encouragement to other people in the

body. That's some of my gifting. And part of that happens through teaching. And so I'm taking

these mourning mindset additions of the Live Build Change podcast as an opportunity

to encourage you every day, as you struggle, as you strive, as you fight to get your mind right every single day of your lives and I don't know if you've thought about that

But it's something you have to do

You don't wake up every morning with your thoughts in the right place.

My wife has shared with me many times how she tends to naturally wake up with condemning thoughts.

Telling her she's not good enough or she's done something wrong or she's she's

displeasing to God in some way and she has to fight those things because 99.9% of

the time it's not true.

And see, we wake up every morning with something in our mindset off.

And we're learning through the renewing of our minds, and a practice like a morning mindset that we're doing here to get

our minds right and I've been doing that recently by walking through the book of

Ephesians we're looking at chapter one and Paul is in the midst of praying a prayer for his readers,

the the Ephesians, the people who live in this town called Ephesus.

And he just prayed that God himself would show them himself, would give them the wisdom and

the revelation that they could see him for who he really is.

And then Paul kind of describes what that would look like.

He says having, this is in

verse 18 of chapter one, he says having the eyes of your hearts enlightened.

So he wants God to enlighten the eyes of their heart. Now we don't think of our hearts as having eyes. This
