It's time to get up an addict, get out of bed, get your head on straight, and that's what this

morning mindset edition of the Liberal Change Podcast is really all about. It's about getting your mindset

right at the beginning of the day so that you can live the day rightly. And today

we're going to walk through another phrase from Ephesians chapter 1.

We're in verse number 19 and Paul is unpacking a prayer that he regularly

prays for these people who live in this town called

Ephesus and I'm so thankful we have Paul's written record of what it is he

prayed because it's so illuminating to us how perhaps we should be

praying for the people in our lives, the people we care about. And Paul says here that

he's praying for these people that their hearts would be enlightened so that they could

understand this thing he calls the riches of God's glorious inheritance.

And in verse 19 he adds to it. He says, I also want you to understand what is the

immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe according to the working of his great might, that he worked out

in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the

heavenly places.

Now that's a mouthful, that's a long phrase.

It's not even the whole sentence either.

Paul has these humongously large sentences that you've got to stop and

unpack phrase at a time. and that's what we're doing.

Verse 19 he says God has this immeasurable great power.

Okay now can you imagine that? Of course you can. God's the one who spoke and the universe came into existence.

He's the one who spoke and light and darkness separated. He's the one who spoke and plants came into being, fish came into being, the atmosphere came into being, people came into being.
