We are in the summer series for a fruitful summer here at the

My desire was to not weigh us down with too many episodes of

too much content, but to actually give us a little bit of a reading or a listening plan this

summer. I wanted us to consider fruitfulness through the fruit of the spirit. You know, Galatians

chapter 5 verses 22 and 23 says, but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,

goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and the tough one, self-control against such things.

There is no law.

And sometimes we think of those all separately, but when we look at it as a whole, fruitfulness ultimately

results in all these characteristics, all these things produced in our lives because we're

abiding in Christ, because we're growing in Christ. And so I don't know what Summer's like

for you, but today we're going to be talking about peace.

And I got to say, I always imagine summer to be super peaceful.

Anyone else out there imagine summertime being like, you know, swinging on a hammock and

drinking an abundance of iced tea.

And I'm so prone to the images in my mind of what summertime feels like,

really low-key and gentle and sweet and restful. And I hope it's going that way for you.
