| 1:17.6 | uh against this ban so uh a democrat said the police in her district asked for the change uh to |

| 1:30.4 | street in the city of St. Louis carrying an AR-15. |
| 1:35.6 | The police said, we don't want that. |
| 1:39.6 | Well, first of all, to go back to 2017, the Missouri lawmakers repealed carrying concealed |
| 1:47.2 | weapons requirements. |
| 1:49.5 | Just no longer do we want any requirements on open carry. |

| 1:55.4 | So the argument was minors should be able to carry weapons, including an AR-15, 14-year-olds, for example, |
| 2:05.4 | because any law banning that, the Republicans said, was an unneeded infringement on gun rights, |
