So it's a defense for a, well, let's just say it was an attack on police officers.

A matter of fact, a firing at federal agents,

Costa Mesa, Orange County right here in Southern California.

And the officers were trying to serve a warrant on this guy.

And he decided that he wasn't going to have the warrant served.

So what he did is fire on the officers.

That's lovely.

Louis Mendez, 50 years old.

And they had suspected him of having firearms that he was prohibited from possessing

because there was a prior conviction for domestic violence.

And in California, if you have a domestic violence conviction, you don't own a firearm.

So firearms.

So they had information he did, went to serve a warrant, and he starts opening

fire for him. And an eight-hour standoff, eventually surrender, no injuries, everybody was

okay. So now his arrest. And the first time he appears in court, he claims that his case

should be dismissed due to a discrepancy regarding the spelling of his name on official documents and refused to enter a plea.

Okay.

Then he says that in reality, he is the son of Jesus Christ and has been railroaded, unlawfully arrested, and he acted in self-defense.
