Now, as you know, I live in Los Angeles, and some of the tourist spots, particularly in front of the Chinese theater, right there

on Hollywood Boulevard.

And this is, we used to be the famous Grownman's Chinese theater that was built, well,

in the silent film era.

And this is where the stars have, you know, the footprints and their handprints and the

cement, and it goes back, I don't know, 100 years probably. And so there's a big open space

in front of it. And this is, the fun part is people dress up in costumes. And some are great, some are horrible movie costumes.

And tourists, usually Japanese tourists, come and they're solicited to take pictures. Hey, you want to

take a picture with me? Superman, Batman, Spider-Man. There's a guy out there who looks like

Jack Sparrow. There are all kinds. And so you stand up,

you take pictures, and then you're told, okay, you pay me $5. You pay me $10. It's a scam.

Okay, what is not a scam are the people in front of the Chinese theater.

Just thought I'd bring that up as a little bit of history. And these are street vendors.

You know, hot dog carts, if you've seen pictures of L.A., we have just zillions of those, hot dog carts,

fruit carts, where they sell various food products

and here to four street vendor it was illegal I mean it was illegal for people to do

this they pass some laws exempting those tourist places and said okay you can vend on vend on the street, but not in front of those places.

Because there are so many tourists because you got in the way, well, that changed.
