Summary

Sharing the right idea with the wrong person can stop a dream before it ever gets a chance to grow. In today's episode, we're diving deep into one of the most overlooked challenges entrepreneurs face: the fear of judgment from family and friends.

I open up about moments in my own journey when I shared new ideas with people I loved, only to be met with doubt, passive comments, or outright discouragement. Those experiences didn't just sting… they stalled my momentum, clouded my confidence, and made me question my path.

But here's the truth: so much potential, progress, and freedom is lost when we let outside opinions dictate our inner calling.

If you've ever hesitated to share your goals because you're afraid of what others might think, this episode will give you the clarity and courage to keep going, unapologetically.

but more often than not, the passive, aggressive comments, the snide comments, the snarkiness at

Thanksgiving, it comes from friends and family. Why is it? Why is it that way? Shouldn't be

0:49.2

that way, right? But unfortunately, it's, it's, it's the snarkiness often comes from people that we're supposed to be close to,

people that we feel like should be supportive of us and the thing that we're building.

1:03.1

And yet sometimes it's the people that are supposed to be closest to us that also give us

1:08.5

the comments, the pushback that makes us think that, well, maybe I shouldn't be

1:13.9

doing this. Maybe I shouldn't be working so much. Maybe I shouldn't be trying so hard. Maybe I should

1:19.1

be home more. Maybe I shouldn't be working so many hours. Maybe I am on the internet too much or whatever.

1:25.2

And this is a fear that actually does hold a lot of women back

from growing their business because it's those little snarky comments. It's those little things

1:34.1

set around, you know, Christmas that make women really, like, hesitant to go for it in growing

1:40.8

their business because what are people going to say? Maybe I just shouldn't

1:44.4

bring up my business this time. Maybe, you know, when people say, so how's your little business going?

1:49.5

Maybe I just shouldn't say anything. But you still hear the comments, right? That, well, must be nice.

1:55.9

You know, must be nice that you're able to take another vacation or man you've really changed since you've
