Christopher Harris, Chris, to his loyal listeners, will not stay in his lane.

This is a guy who for years worked for ESPN as a writer and personality, and when he went solo, was brave enough to start his own podcast about fantasy football.

And that has proven to be the little podcast that could.

He has hundreds of thousands of listeners who depend on him for their fantasy football information.

But he's much more than that. He writes novels. For the last decade, he's been consistently writing

novels that refuse to be pigeonholed.

His subject matter is widely varied, but his writing is consistent.

He's a really smart, funny, thoughtful, quick-witted guy.

He has an analytical mind,

but he's also got one of those wildly creative personalities that jumps around.

He's fun to listen to, if you like fantasy football,

and he's great to read.

And it turns out, he's an excellent guest for a conversation such as the one we had in the

living room of his apartment in Los Angeles. Though listeners to his podcast will be disappointed to

find out that that is not aboard a yacht, It's actually many floors up in a high rise in

downtown Los Angeles. But Chris Harris is a good dude. He's everything you'd hope for. He's funny.

He's smart. He's present. He thinks a lot about what he's doing. And he works really hard.

you know that I value work ethic, perhaps above all else. The one thing that I like
