And we begin with a boulder bear becoming

the latest social media sensation.

A black bear wandering around the Colorado Woods

tripped the motion detectors of a camera

used to capture wildlife activity

and ended up snapping 400 selfies.

The city's open space and mountain parks department

shared some of the animals picks online

and selfie bear has since gone viral.

In some, it almost seems as if the coy creature

is striking a pose.

The cameras were set up as a way

to learn about how local wildlife species

use the city's public landscapes.

According to officials, the majority of animals

are oblivious to the cameras and walk on by.

Although they do have a few close-ups

of deer, mountain lions, bobcats, and a wild turkey.
