Today is Monday, January 30th, 2023, and we begin with football's biggest game setting

up an epic sibling rivalry. Kansas City and Philadelphia both won their conference championships

yesterday, which means Super Bowl 57 will pit the two Kelsey brothers against each other.

Travis Kelsey plays tight end for the Chiefs, which won a last-second nail-biter over the

Bengals. And Jason Kelsey is the center for the Eagles, the team that earlier in the

day dismantled the 49ers and ended the storybook run of San Francisco's rookie quarterback,

Brock Purdy. Super Bowl 57, the Kelsey Bowl, gets underway at 630 Eastern 330 Pacific

on February 12th at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Well played, M&Ms. The company now admits that it's highly publicized decision to sideline

its redesigned spokescandys in favor of actress Maya Rudolph was all just a publicity stunt

timed for the big game. The company told The New York Times that the pursuing other

passions after breaking the internet announcement will all make sense if we tune in for their

much-typed and very expensive Super Bowl commercials.

If you're headed to the bus stop somewhere between the Rockies and Midwest this morning,

Ridiculous Arctic cold has plunged south, dropping temperatures to single digits, and

winchills well below zero. In Pocotello, Idaho, forecasters were expecting a feels-like

temperature of minus 50 last night. On the flip side, old man Winter seems to have forgotten

about the big apple. As of yesterday, New York City has now gone longer waiting for its first

snow of the season than it has in more than 50 years. It's been an unusually mild few months,

and while the city has seen a few flurries, none of it has lasted long enough to hit the ground.
