But the truth is that when we stop prioritizing our self-care, everything else in our lives follows suits and is negatively impacted. Having a morning routine is one of the easiest ways to get yourself ready to have a great day. By creating a time and a space to help you balance your life, you can go on to do the things that you do best. Establishing self-care rituals, such as yoga, meditation, journaling and healthy food choices, will help prepare you to consistently have a positive and productive day. A conscious and thoughtful morning ritual will help you have a little less chaos in your day and will set both your body and your mind to a state of success. Listen in for the importance of learning something new every day, why being in motion is the key to life, and why it is necessary to reconnect with nature. I have a feeling that the answer is yes.

And the reason why I say that is because there were many years where I did not take care of myself,

particularly in the morning.

And what I learned is that when we stop prioritizing our self-care,

everything else follows in suit. Your confidence is depleted, your energy

is zapped, you may be operating in mental fog where it's hard to care about

anything or anyone. I remember being so exhausted I really didn't care about

anything. Now self-care I have learned is an important part of our wellness ritual and

it often goes by the wayside in our over-scheduled

hyper-connected world consumed by being busy we often forget to take time for ourselves

and take time to take care of our bodies. We tend to place other

people's needs before our own health care and suffer the health consequences over time.

Especially we as women, you know, we are serving everyone else,

we are taking care of all the obligations, and then one day we wake up and

realize that oh my gosh, like I have not been taking care of myself.

Now for me that happened after many years of self-care neglect

and I had to really start to reshape and reframe

the way that I took care of myself so that I could show up bigger and better for the people that I really wanted to serve.

So as you can imagine the consequences are you're wrecking havoc on your mood, your energy, your sleep, your weight, and overall quality of life.
