2014 playoff is the drumbeat coming from not just Tony Petiti, but it appears that all the

prime member institutions on board, according to Jed,

Jed said, you know, when you talk about teams, you know, you look at teams that have played

for the championship, none are in the SEC. And so the message about the direction of the college football

playoff shouldn't just come from the SEC. And the big 10 coaches are like, hey, we want a 24

team playoff. Now, Ira, I have been a staunch opponent, not of expansion, because I've warmed, you know, as we saw the 12 this past year, it's like, you know what, and we're going to make a participation trophy out of it as well.

I think the furthest you can go or should go is I'm on board with 16 team playoff.

Because, you know, one of the biggest reasons why is I love for like the top Cs to be able to get home games, man, to be able to get home games in the playoffs.

You know, as it stands, it's just by theed time the top-seated teams are able to take

advantage of their advantage.
