And speaking of comedians, that's a great way to transition to talking about Indiana's football schedule. Hey, it's almost like we're... You stepped right into that one. It's almost like we're meant for this stuff. So remember a couple years, a couple weeks ago, a couple days ago, in fact. Yeah. And we said, we talked about Indiana schedule, and we were joking about how many times they played Indiana State and Kennesaw State. And we apologized to Eastern Michigan because they were part of, even though they've beaten Big Ten teams. So they were like the toughest of the bunch in the group. Yep. And I said, you know, this is a five-year window of non-conference games where the rules change fairly rapidly.

And this might come back to bite them because if they, if strength of schedule is weighed more and they don't get a very heavy Big Ten schedule, you know, a lot of games against good teams in the Big Ten and say they only play two of them and they lose them. And they don't have any other games that have any meaning on their schedule and they have no meaningful wins. That's going to hurt them in the future, unlike it did last year. And they would have been left out for one of the SEC teams or I guess, was it South Carolina, whoever is next in the year. Whoever is next in line, yeah.

Well, the college football playoff selection committee,

just two days, it was like two days later.

Like legit, a day or two after we talked about it here on the show,

this was from yesterday.

The college ball playoff selection committee will begin using enhanced metrics

to help evaluate schedule strength and how team

perform against their slate the CFP announced yesterday.

CFP committee will announce its first of six rankings coming up on November 4th.

I think they're the closest to not just getting the rankings right, but getting the timing

of releasing the first rankings right.

Preseason rankings, we talk about them because they're out there, but they should not have rankings until October because there would be so much different, it would be such a different thought process on who is having a good season or who the good teams are. Things would just feel differently if nobody had rankings until October. And you just played all the games because you end up with a ranked team that wins

like two games over the whole season but they were ranked at the beginning of the year and someone's like I have a ranked to win it's like yeah but you beat them in week zero or week one and then they went on to go two and ten just because they were ranked at the beginning of the year doesn't actually matter in the grand scheme of things it's kind of like last year when you know Oh, we beat Florida State.

So in the current schedule strength metric, more weight will now be put into strong opponents.
