In meantime, it is now time for another edition of Behind the Uniform, Sam Webb 1-on-1 with a member of the Michigan football team. So you can learn more about this player, well, behind the uniform. So here is Sam Webb 101 with defensive back Mason Curtis now here on the Michigan Insider on the Big 1050 WTK. And we are back, folks, for another edition of Behind the Uniform.

This is where we go inside the playing careers of the guys who wear the uniform for the

maze and blue, but we also tell you about who they are away from the gridiron,

away from the field of play.

And joining us right now as a young man who broke out and

announced his presence on a gridiron for the Michigan Wolverines last year and is now ready to

break out even more this season in the secondary for the Michigan Wolverines. Mr. Mason Curtis is with us.

Mason, how you doing? I'm good. How about you? Doing great, man. Glad that you could be with us and talk about announcing your

presence. You did that in a big way in the secondary for the Wolverines.

And so, man, I just, you know, looking back on it, excited for you.

I wonder what it felt like last year as you broke out.

Was it one of those things where you were like,

man, I told you are, was it just, was it just that sheer excitement that you felt to finally be out there?

I'll say it's more of just the excitement, being able to put in the work and seeing it translate onto the field was a special experience.

Let's go back to your recruitment, though,

because obviously you were a highly regarded guy coming out of high school,

so it's not like this is a surprise,

but there was a lot of debate about where your biggest upside was.
