And this is an interesting question to ask you as a play caller, Al.

So Andres Martinez says, I know there's a lot left in the season,

but I feel like Michigan is going to go crazy this portal cycle.

Why receivers are going to be begging to come here?

Interesting.

Because I feel like there's a good chance of that if if Michigan, if, if,

if McCully and Marsh, but certainly if a receiver has a successful year. I don't think it's just enough to just have Bryce or just enough to just have Bryce and pay a lot.

I think you have to legitimize the offense with numbers.

Yeah, you have to present some numbers.

It's so much that way now, more now than when I first started coach. And if you can't

present them, particularly with the NIL and, you know, everybody thinks you're going to be a pro football

player, where if you really end up being one, but they still think that, particularly out of high school.

They want to know that they're going to get opportunities to showcase their ability. And if you don't

have hard evidence to prove that, it's going to be hard to get them away from what might be sometimes a lesser team. A team you wouldn't think would ever get a kid can take it from them because they say, they're throwing the ball 50 times a game. The guys are the receivers are catching, you know, eight to ten passes a game. So, you know, a lot of times they don't care if they win or lose.

They just want to make sure they get showcased.

Yeah, because, man, I mean, you think about it.
