0:21.2	into this 24 hour news cycle.
0:24.9	And once you make the news 24 hours,
0:27.1	once you've got a channel that you're supposed to fill
0:29.0	with news for 24 hours, then you've got to start to do things
0:34.4	in order to fill that news cycle.
0:36.0	So I got to see this transition
0:38.5	because when I was a kid,
0:39.8	the news only came from Walter Cronkite.
0:44.1	Do you know what Walter Cronkite is?
0:45.1	I do.
0:45.7	Okay.
0:46.6	That was it.
0:48.3	Now, Walter Cronkite's news
0:50.1	started as a 15-minute show.
0:53.7	And then in 1963, it expanded to a 30-minute we're gonna have
0:57.6	we're gonna talk about news for 30 minutes right which by the way with commercials
1:01.6	22 minutes so 20 in two in 22 minutes you knew what you needed to know what you
1:09.1	needed to know about the world and that lasted for a long time
