We all want our children to have good friends, not just close friends, but good friends.

Nice honest kids who will bring out the best in our kids.

And we want our children to be surrounded by adults, their teachers, their coaches,

people who model characteristics that they can aspire to, such as kindness, gratitude, respect, and hard work.

But so often this feels out of our control.

How can we control the character of who our children are spending time with when they aren't in our homes?

We can't hand pick all of their friends and role models.
