Overview

The Devil Within is a cinematic podcast about the stories that refuse to die — the legends, disappearances, curses, and supernatural encounters that linger long after the world moves on. Each episode blends history, folklore, and investigation to explore what really happened… and why these stories still haunt us. From mythical creatures and haunted places, to strange crimes and unexplained phenomena, The Devil Within starts where the facts end — and the unanswered questions begin. New episodes weekly. Bring a light. You may need it. BINGE THE FIRST FOUR SEASONS NOW! Season 1: The Jersey Devil - The brutal slaying of BETTY ANN SULLIVAN shocked the small town of Jefferson Township, New Jersey. The violence of that evening shocked the nation for the perpetrator... was her own son, a boy of fourteen who would take his own life only hours later. What the investigation revealed left a community in tatters, unwilling to believe the evil that had befallen them. Season 2: The Demons of Yorkshire - In 1974 after experiencing financial hardship, Michael Taylor joined a local church in the rolling hills of Northern England. After falling in love with a young, beautiful preacher, Michael’s personality began to change. The mild-mannered family man became abusive and unhinged. His new church believed he was possessed by no fewer than 48 demons and would require an exorcism to save his soul and protect his family from evil. But the supposed remedy would come at a very steep price...  Season 3: A Season in Hell - In the late 1970's New York City had it all: Hip Hop, Punk Rock... and the Son of Sam. The third season of The Devil Within takes listeners into the belly of the beast and explores the wicked origins, reign of terror and ultimate capture of one of the most feared serial killers in history. With exclusive interviews from journalists, FBI agents, historians and mental health experts this season promises to be the most comprehensive - and most terrifying - account of how one man brought New York City to a standstill. Season 4: Satan's Shadow - In the 1980s, California learned that fear doesn’t always lurk in the dark. Sometimes, it walks right through the door. SATAN’S SHADOW follows the terrifying rise of Richard Ramirez — the Night Stalker — while tracing his crimes alongside Dante Alighieri’s Inferno. As Ramirez descends deeper into violence, we descend with him through Dante’s circles of hell, asking what happens to a city — and a soul — when darkness becomes a spectacle. Across nine episodes, each chapter pairs the facts of the case with a brief lesson from Dante: desire twisted into obsession, cruelty masquerading as power, betrayal, violence, and the chilling fascination that draws us closer instead of pushing us away. Because Ramirez didn’t just kill. He captivated. He made the world watch — and forced us to confront the part of ourselves that can’t look away. Bonus episodes explore the trial, aftermath, and the myths that followed — along with glimpses into Purgatorio and Paradiso, and whether redemption or meaning is possible after horror. SATAN’S SHADOW isn’t only about a murderer. It’s about a culture slowly walking toward darkness… and what it costs to climb back out.

What We Built... And What We Buried: Episode Nine - The Man Who Fixed Everything

🎧 The Devil Within What We Built… And What We Buried Episode 9: The Man Who Fixed Everything Some problems don’t break systems. They limit them. And in the early days of the automobile, one of those problems had a name: Engine knock. 🧪 The Solution Enter Thomas Midgley Jr.. A problem-solver who didn’t redesign the engine… He changed the fuel. 👉 Tetraethyl lead A chemical additive that: • Eliminated engine knock • Increased performance • Allowed the modern automobile to scale It worked. Perfectly. 🌍 The Spread The solution didn’t stay in the lab. It moved: • Into fuel systems • Into infrastructure • Into the global environment Because once something works… It doesn’t stay contained. ⚠️ The Cost What improved engines didn’t stay in engines. Lead entered: • The air • The soil • The human body And over time: 👉 The cost accumulated • Neurological damage • Developmental harm • A global environmental footprint 😈 The Devil Within This isn’t a story about failure. It’s about success without full understanding. Because the solution didn’t just fix the problem… It changed everything around it. 🔜 Next Episode The same mind.
A different problem. And a solution that didn’t affect the ground… 👉 It affected the sky. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

The Devil's Ledger - Week of June 1st, 2026

The Devil’s Ledger — Week of June 1st, 2026 Happy Blue Moon. As a rare second full moon lights up the skies over Los Angeles, we take a moment to reflect—on endings, beginnings, and the strange things that seem to surface when the night feels just a little too still. And to all the graduates out there—congratulations. Wherever you’re headed next, may you do wonderful things… big and small. The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week This week, we explore the unsettling legend of Grace—a Victorian-era doll that has gone from antique curiosity to one of the UK’s most talked-about haunted artifacts. Once an ordinary toy, Grace’s reputation began in 2018 during a paranormal investigation where guests reported physical symptoms, unexplained movement, and chilling electronic voice phenomena. Since then, the doll has followed investigators from location to location, leaving behind a trail of reported disturbances, recorded voices, and growing fascination. Now, in the latest development, investigators claim to have captured a single, chilling word coming from the doll: “Burn.” Is it evidence of something attached to the artifact… or simply the power of suggestion taking hold? Either way, Grace has become something more than a relic of the past—she’s a modern legend. The Devil Within Season Five (What We Built… And What We Buried) continues with “The Man Who Fixed Everything.” This episode examines the chemist who introduced chlorofluorocarbons—CFCs—as a safer alternative to toxic refrigeration gases. At the time, it was a breakthrough. Cleaner. Safer. Stable. A solution. But what followed was something far larger—and far more damaging—than anyone anticipated. A global consequence that reshaped how we understand unintended impact, and the cost of innovation without foresight. Criminal Mischief Carolyn is back after a brief hiatus with another meticulously researched deep dive into the darker corners of human behavior. As always, this isn’t just storytelling—it’s reconstruction. The Culture of Criminal Cool We’re now up to Episode 5, and the response has been incredible. Thank you to everyone who’s been listening, commenting, and sharing. Adam Diaz is proving to be exactly what we thought—a story worth telling. The Slippery Nancy and Scott return with another hard-to-believe story of deception, betrayal, and outright grift. The kind of story that makes you stop mid-episode and ask— How did this actually happen? This show is quickly becoming a must-listen. This Week in Horror Something is shifting. Two films—Obsession and Backrooms—have taken over the box office. Both from creators who came out of YouTube. Not the traditional system. Not the usual pipeline. New voices. New instincts. And audiences are showing up in a big way. Is this a moment… or the beginning of something bigger? Watch them. Then let me know what you think. What We Built… And What We Buried: Episode Eight - The Man Who Drank Poison

🎧 The Devil Within What We Built… And What We Buried Episode Eight: The Man Who Drank Poison Some stories don’t end. They rupture. 🍷 The Event A meeting. Three men. A drink. Then suddenly— A reaction. A collapse. And a statement that would define everything that followed: “They poisoned me.” ⚠️ The Death Stanley Meyer was dead within hours. The official cause: 👉 Cerebral aneurysm • Sudden • Catastrophic • Medically consistent No poison found.
No evidence of foul play. Case closed. 🧠 The Problem Except… The story didn’t close. Because the death didn’t happen in isolation. It followed a claim that had already disrupted expectation. And when those two things collide— 👉 An unresolved invention
👉 An abrupt death The narrative doesn’t settle. It expands. 🔍 Two Realities From that moment forward, two versions exist: 1 The official explanation ◦ Medical ◦ Verifiable ◦ Complete 2 The alternative narrative ◦ Suggestive ◦ Unproven ◦ Persistent And neither one fully erases the other. 🧩 The Pattern This is how stories like this survive: • The invention is never proven • The death is explained—but not satisfying • The gap between the two becomes the story Because once belief attaches itself… It doesn’t require evidence to continue. 😈 The Devil Within The unsettling truth isn’t what happened in that restaurant. It’s what happened after. 👉 The willingness to fill gaps with meaning
👉 The need for the story to resolve in a way that feels bigger than the facts
👉 The quiet shift from what is known… to what is believed 🔜 Next Episode Next time, we move into a different kind of danger: Not ideas that may not have worked… But ideas that worked too well. 🎧 Listen & Follow 👉 Follow The Devil Within wherever you get your podcasts

What We Built… And What We Buried: Episode Seven - The Car That Ran on Water

🎧 The Devil Within What We Built… And What We Buried Episode 7: The Car That Ran on Water What if the system we depend on… was never necessary? This week, The Devil Within explores one of the most persistent—and controversial—claims of the modern era: A car powered not by gasoline… But by water. 💧 The Claim Inventor Stanley Meyer introduced a device he called a water fuel cell—a system that appeared to power a vehicle using one of the most abundant substances on Earth. Water goes in.
The engine turns.
The car moves. No visible fuel. 🎥 The Demonstrations Observers saw it. A modified vehicle—simple, exposed, almost unimpressive—running in a way that defied expectation. • No gasoline input • No obvious trick • A functioning engine And that’s all it took. Because once something appears to work… Belief follows quickly. 🧠 The Shift The story stopped being about engineering. And became about possibility. 👉 Freedom from fuel
👉 Independence from cost
👉 A system no longer controlled Because the idea didn’t just solve a problem. It erased it. ⚠️ The Fault Line But demonstrations aren’t proof. And when the questions came… They didn’t go away: • Where does the energy come from? • Does the system produce more energy than it consumes? • Can it be replicated? Because there’s a rule that doesn’t bend: 👉 Energy cannot be created from nothing 😈 The Devil Within This episode isn’t about whether the car worked. It’s about why people needed it to. Because belief doesn’t require completion. It requires just enough evidence… to begin. 🔜 Next Episode What happened next didn’t end the story. It expanded it. Learn more about your ad choices. The Devil’s Ledger — Week of May 25th, 2026 This Memorial Day, we take a moment to honor the true meaning behind the holiday—remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Then, in The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week, we head to Los Angeles and explore the infamous Rosenheim Mansion—better known as the “Murder House” from American Horror Story. A historic home turned horror icon, its legacy blurs the line between fiction and reality, leaving one unsettling question: does a place become haunted… simply because we believe it is? Over on The Devil Within, Season Five (What We Built… And What We Buried) continues with Episode 7—a deep dive into the legendary “car that ran on water.” Was it a revolutionary breakthrough, an elaborate hoax, or something quietly buried by industries that couldn’t afford to let it succeed? Criminal Mischief is off this week, but Carolyn returns next episode. In the meantime, don’t miss Evio Creative’s newest hit, The Culture of Criminal Cool, following the rise and fall of drug kingpin Adam Diaz. What We Built... And What We Buried: Episode Six - The Cost of Free Energy

🎧 The Devil Within What We Built… And What We Buried Episode 6: The Cost of Free Energy Not all endings look like endings. Some just… slow down. 🏗️ The Tower That Didn’t Fall Wardenclyffe didn’t collapse. It lingered. A structure: • Built • Funded • Nearly realized But no longer moving forward. 🧠 The Reality Tesla’s idea didn’t fail. It was never fully tested. Not because it couldn’t work… But because the world couldn’t support what it would become. 💰 The System Problem Electricity wasn’t just power. It was a relationship: • Producer → Consumer • Delivery → Payment • Usage → Measurement Remove the wires… And that relationship breaks. ❓ The Unanswered Question Without a meter: • Who owns the energy? • Who controls access? • How is value assigned? These aren’t engineering problems. They’re system problems. 🛑 The Withdrawal Support didn’t vanish overnight. It faded. • Delays • Hesitation • Reduced funding Until eventually… Everything just stopped. 🧬 The Afterlife of an Idea Tesla didn’t stop believing. But without proof—without a completed system—his work began to shift: • From innovation • To speculation • To myth Meanwhile, the world doubled down on wires. ⚠️ The Hard Truth Most people want this to be a story about suppression. It’s not that clean. Nothing was destroyed. Nothing was officially rejected. The idea just… didn’t continue. 😈 The Devil Within The real tension isn’t whether Tesla was right. It’s this: 👉 The world isn’t shaped by what’s possible
👉 It’s shaped by what can be supported And support requires alignment. 🔜 Next Episode From energy… to motion. A machine that claimed it could run without fuel. Stanley Meyer—and the car that ran on water. 🎧 Listen & Follow 👉 Follow The Devil Within wherever you get your podcasts

What We Built... And What We Buried: Episode Five - The World Without Wires

🎧 The Devil Within What We Built… And What We Buried Episode 5: The World Without Wires What if electricity didn’t need wires at all? Not improved.
Not optimized. Eliminated. ⚡ The Idea At the turn of the 20th century, the world was building a system: • Power plants • Transmission lines • Meters • Control Electricity had become something that could be measured… delivered… and billed. And then came Nikola Tesla… With a different vision. 🌍 The Disruption Tesla wasn’t trying to improve the grid. He was trying to replace it. A world where: • Energy moves through the air • The Earth itself acts as a conductor • Power is accessed—not delivered No wires.
No infrastructure.
No clear point of control. 🏗️ Wardenclyffe On Long Island, Tesla began building it: Wardenclyffe Tower A massive structure designed to: • Transmit energy wirelessly • Use the Earth as part of the circuit • Prove that electricity could exist everywhere… simultaneously This wasn’t theory. It was being built. 💰 The Collision Backed by J. P. Morgan, the project had momentum. Until the scope became clear. Because wireless communication was one thing. Wireless power was another. ❓ The Question As the vision expanded, one problem emerged: Where do you put the meter? Not a technical issue. A structural one. Because if energy can’t be measured…
It can’t be monetized. 🛑 The Shift Funding slowed.
Support faded.
Construction stalled. The tower wasn’t destroyed. It just… stopped. 😈 The Devil Within This isn’t about suppression. It’s about something more uncomfortable: 👉 Ideas don’t survive because they’re possible
👉 They survive because they fit the system And this one didn’t. 🎧 Listen & Follow 👉 Follow The Devil Within wherever you get your podcasts

The Devil's Ledger - Week of May 18th

🎧 The Devil’s Ledger Week of May 18, 2026 Spring is here—and summer isn’t far behind. Another packed week across the Evio Creative Network, with new stories, new episodes, and a look at both the past… and what may be waiting at the end of it. 👁️ The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week The End of the Green River Killer News broke that Gary Ridgway—one of the most prolific serial killers in U.S. history—is now receiving end-of-life care. Operating for decades around Seattle, Ridgway targeted vulnerable women, ultimately confessing to 48 murders—though the true number may be higher. What made Ridgway especially disturbing wasn’t just the scale of his crimes… It was his ability to disappear into ordinary life while carrying out systematic, calculated violence. And if there is such a thing as justice beyond this world? Dante may have already decided his fate. 👉 The Seventh Circle of Hell—Violence
👉 Submerged in the river of boiling blood, Phlegethon
👉 Depth determined by the severity of the crimes For Ridgway? You can probably guess how deep that goes. 🔥 On The Devil Within What We Built… And What We Buried This week, we explore the genius—and the unfinished vision—of Nikola Tesla. A man who attempted something radical: 👉 Wireless electricity
👉 Energy delivered through the air
👉 Power, accessible anywhere And this wasn’t just an idea. The Wardenclyffe Tower was actually built in New York. So why did it stop? And what happens when an idea doesn’t fail—but simply… disappears? 💰 On Criminal Mischief With the “Hollywood” series wrapped, Carolyn Ossorio turns the page. A new case is coming. And if history is any indication… It won’t be quiet. 🎙️ On The Culture of Criminal Cool Episode Three continues the rise of Adam Diaz. Because becoming a drug lord isn’t a straight line. It’s messy. It’s dangerous. And somehow… Still just funny enough to keep you hooked. ⚠️ On The Slippery Another scam exposed. Another takedown. 👉 The victims get justice
👉 The scammers get what’s coming Scott and Nancy take you behind the curtain once again. 🧠 On Finding Me with Josh Wolf Josh is closing in on 100 episodes. And things are shifting. He’s getting closer to making the call he’s been circling for months: 👉 Professional help
👉 Real change
👉 The next phase And the truth? He couldn’t have gotten here without this journey. 🎬 This Week in Horror Obsession Directed by Curry Barker, this film follows a hopeless romantic who uses a mystical “One Wish Willow” to make his crush fall in love with him… Only to discover that some wishes come with consequences. What We Built... And What We Buried: Episode Four - The Fire That Never Was

🎧 The Devil Within Episode 4: The Fire That Never Was If Episode 3 asked what if it worked… This episode asks: What if it didn’t? Or worse— What if we can never know? 🧪 The Missing Proof In science, the rule is simple: If it can’t be reproduced, it doesn’t exist. And Starlight never crossed that line. • No formula • No independent testing • No replication What remains isn’t proof. It’s memory. 🎭 The Demonstration Problem A demonstration shows you an outcome. An experiment proves a process. Starlight was never tested—it was shown. • Controlled conditions • Selective variables • A compelling result Enough to convince. Not enough to confirm. 🧠 The Real Question Was it real? Was it illusion? Or something that lived just long enough to convince—but not long enough to prove? Because once something exists between proof and possibility… It doesn’t disappear. 😈 The Devil Within The easy answer is suppression. But the more likely truth? It didn’t need to be buried. In a system built on verification, anything unproven is automatically contained. Not rejected. Just… never real. 🔜 Next Episode From fire… to energy. Nikola Tesla. Wireless power. And the cost of disrupting a system built on control. 🎧 Listen & Follow 👉 Follow The Devil Within wherever you get your podcasts

What We Built... And What We Buried: Episode Three - The Man Who Defied Fire

🎧 The Devil Within What We Built... And What We Buried: Episode Three - The Man Who Defied Fire What if someone actually solved fire? Not slowed it.
Not resisted it. Solved it. This week, we step into the story of Maurice Ward and his mysterious material: Starlight. 🔥 The Claim In the early 1990s, Ward demonstrated a substance that appeared to do the impossible. A raw egg.
A white coating.
A blowtorch. And when it ended… The egg was still raw. Uncooked. Untouched. Unchanged. 🧠 The Implications If Starlight worked, it wouldn’t just be useful. It would be world-changing: • Fireproof buildings • Safer aircraft • Entire industries reshaped This wasn’t incremental. This was disruptive. 🧪 The Mystery And yet… It never entered the world. No patent.
No formula.
No independent verification. Just demonstrations… and a man who refused to share the secret. 😈 The Devil Within This episode isn’t about proving Starlight. It’s about asking a harder question: If something this powerful existed… could it ever actually be allowed to? 🔜 Next Episode We move past the demonstration… …and into the breakdown. 🎧 Listen & Follow 👉 Follow The Devil Within wherever you get your podcasts

The Devil's Ledger - Week of May, 11th

🎧 The Devil’s Ledger Week of May 11, 2026 Spring has a way of resetting everything. Not gently—but inevitably. This week across the Evio Creative Network, we explore what happens when things don’t reset… when they pause, disappear, or get left behind entirely. 👁️ The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week The Girl Who Disappeared Into Sleep This week’s story centers on Nicole Delien and a rare neurological disorder known as Kleine-Levin Syndrome. A condition that doesn’t just disrupt life… It removes you from it. • Episodes of sleeping up to 20 hours a day • Episodes lasting weeks… even months • Severe confusion, memory loss, and disorientation when awake Nicole once slept for 64 consecutive days. And when she woke up… The world had moved on without her. No cure.
No warning.
No way to predict when it will happen again. Because the real horror isn’t the sleep. It’s the missing time. 🔥 On The Devil Within What We Built… And What We Buried This season continues with a story that challenges something fundamental: Fire. A mysterious substance—called Stardust by its inventor—was said to completely neutralize heat. Not resist it.
Not slow it. Eliminate it. There are demonstrations.
There are witnesses. But there’s one critical gap: 👉 It was never tested in a controlled scientific setting So the question becomes: Was it real? Or was it something that lived just long enough to convince… but not long enough to prove? 💰 On Criminal Mischief Carolyn Ossorio wraps up her deep dive into Seattle’s elusive bank robber: Hollywood. A story that spans years… escalates in ambition… and ends the only way stories like this can: In a blaze of glory. 🧠 On Finding Me with Josh Wolf Josh keeps showing up. And it’s starting to show. The impact is real—but not simple. Growth rarely is. What started as a podcast has become something else entirely: 👉 A process
👉 A mirror
👉 A real-time evolution And it’s getting more interesting by the week. ⚠️ On The Slippery Scott and Nancy break down the world of hustlers and scammers—and how it all eventually collapses. Because it always does. 👉 Follow The Slippery wherever you get your podcasts

What We Built... And What We Buried: Episode Two - The Agreement

🎧 The Devil Within — Episode 2: The Agreement What happens when success… becomes a problem? By the 1920s, the world had been illuminated. Homes were wired, cities glowed after dark, and the lightbulb—once revolutionary—had become ordinary. But beneath that success, something unexpected was happening: The bulbs were lasting too long. Consumers weren’t replacing them. Sales began to flatten. And for an industry built on production, durability—once the ultimate goal—quietly became a threat. In this episode, we step inside the rooms where that problem was solved—not through innovation, but through alignment. The formation of what would become known as the Phoebus cartel didn’t just standardize production or stabilize markets… it redefined lifespan. A lightbulb, it was agreed, should last around 1,000 hours—not because it couldn’t last longer, but because it shouldn’t. And once that standard was set, everything changed. Bulbs that lasted too long were no longer celebrated… they were penalized.
Durability wasn’t improved… it was managed.
Failure wasn’t avoided… it was engineered. This wasn’t a conspiracy.
It was a system. And once that system worked… it didn’t stay contained. Because the real story isn’t just about lightbulbs. It’s about what happens when failure becomes a feature—and how that decision reshaped the way things are made, sold, and expected to break. 🎧 Follow The Devil Within wherever you get your podcasts

What We Built...And What We Buried: Episode One - The Immortal Bulb

🎧 The Devil Within — Episode 1: The Immortal Bulb What if the limits we accept… were never really limits at all? In a small fire station in Livermore, California, a lightbulb has been burning—almost continuously—since 1901. It hasn’t been replaced. It hasn’t failed. It has simply… remained. At first, it feels like a curiosity. A relic from a different time. But the longer you sit with it, the more uncomfortable the question becomes: If something built over a century ago can still work today…
why don’t we expect things to last anymore? In this episode, we step into the early days of electric light—when durability wasn’t a bonus, it was the goal. When engineers built for endurance, not replacement. And when the idea of something lasting decades wasn’t unusual… it was expected. But somewhere along the way, that expectation changed. Not suddenly. Not obviously. But deliberately. Because when a product lasts too long… it stops being a product—and starts becoming a problem. This is where the story shifts—from invention to intention. From progress… to something else entirely. 🎯 Follow & Listen 🎧 Follow The Devil Within wherever you get your podcasts

Evio Presents: The Culture of Criminal Cool

The Culture of Criminal Cool follows the true story of Adam Diaz—a Brooklyn street kid who rose to become a top earner for the Medellín cartel during the cocaine boom of 1980s NewYork, moving millions each week while navigating violence, loyalty, and the constant threat of collapse. Hosted by award-winning actor/director Ash Adams, whose background in film andstorytelling brings a sharp, cinematic lens to real-life crime, the series pulls you inside Diaz’s world through firsthand accounts of his rise, his near-fatal mistakes, and the decisions that defined him—from gunfights in the street to high-stakes deals that blurred the line between survival and self-destruction. But this isn’t just a crime story—it’s an unflinching look at the mindset behind it all, and the uncomfortable truth that the line between who we are… and who we could become… is thinner than we think. The Devil's Ledger: May the Fourth... Be With You

🎧 The Devil’s Ledger — Week of May 4 A new week across the Evio Creative Network—and this one comes with a shift. From a chilling story out of Japan that blurs the line between routine and horror… to the launch of an entirely new direction for The Devil Within… to a brand new show diving deep into the myth and reality of criminal power—this week is about one thing: What we choose to see… and what we quietly bury. 👁️ The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week A disturbing story out of Asahiyama Zoo raises a question that lingers long after the headlines fade. Not because of the violence. But because of how seamlessly it fit into the world around it. A place designed for wonder. For control. For observation. And a reminder that sometimes the most unsettling thing… isn’t what happened. It’s how easily it could be hidden. 🔥 On The Devil Within — Season 5 Begins We’re entering new territory. Season Five, What We Built… And What We Buried, steps away from blood and possession… and into something quieter—and arguably more dangerous: Our resistance to change. This season explores the moments where innovation collided with power… and lost. What They Created in Boggy Creek: The Fouke Monster - Part Two

🎧 The Devil Within Episode 2: What They Created in Boggy Creek Once the sightings began to repeat… The town made a decision. They stopped waiting. They went looking. Episode Two shifts from encounter to response, as the people of Fouke take matters into their own hands—organizing search parties, entering the woods, and attempting to impose structure on something that refused to be understood. But the deeper they went… The less they found. No body. No capture. No resolution. Only signs. And silence. As the story spreads beyond Fouke, it begins to change. What was once uncertain becomes defined. What was once incomplete becomes narrative. And with the release of The Legend of Boggy Creek, the legend takes on a life of its own—one that no longer belongs solely to the people who experienced it. Because once a story escapes its origin… It doesn’t just grow. It transforms. And sometimes, the most unsettling question isn’t what people saw in the woods… But what was created afterward.🔥 On This Episode: • Organized hunts and the failure to find answers • The limits of control in an uncontrolled environment • Media amplification and narrative distortion • The cultural impact of The Legend of Boggy Creek • How unresolved events become lasting belief systems 🔗 Listen + Follow 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcasts & Spotify 📺 Watch full episodes on YouTube (Evio Creative) 🌐 Visit: https://eviocreative.com 📲 Follow for clips, updates, and behind-the-scenes: Instagram & TikTok: @thedevilwithinpod 🔥 Support the Show Get early episodes, ad-free listening, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content: 👉 https://patreon.com/TheDevilWithinPodcast 📣 The Usual CTA’s If this story got under your skin… good. The Seige of Fouke: The Fouke Monster - Part One

🎧 The Devil Within Episode 1: The Siege of Fouke There are places where the night doesn’t feel empty… It feels occupied. In the spring of 1971, the small town of Fouke, Arkansas, began experiencing something that didn’t fit within the boundaries of the natural world its residents knew so well. What started as scattered sounds in the woods—heavy, deliberate movement where none should exist—quickly evolved into something far more unsettling. Because it didn’t stop. It didn’t pass through. It stayed. And then… it got closer. In Episode One of The Devil Within, we explore the earliest encounters with what would come to be known as the Fouke Monster. Through firsthand accounts, environmental context, and the now-infamous encounter at the home of Bobby Ford, a pattern begins to emerge—one defined not by chaos, but by control. Something large. Something deliberate. Something that chose when to be seen… and when to disappear. But the most disturbing part? It crossed the boundary. Because once something moves from the woods… to the house… It stops being a story. And becomes something else entirely. 🔥 On This Episode: • The geography and psychology of Fouke, Arkansas • Early reports and the formation of a pattern• The Bobby Ford encounter — and why it changed everything • Behavior that doesn’t align with known wildlife • The moment fear becomes expectation 🔗 Listen + Follow 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcasts & Spotify 📺 Watch full episodes on YouTube (Evio Creative) 🌐 Visit: https://eviocreative.com 📲 Follow for clips, updates, and behind-the-scenes: Instagram & TikTok: @thedevilwithinpod 🔥 Support the Show Get early episodes, ad-free listening, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content: 👉 https://patreon.com/TheDevilWithinPodcast 📣 The Usual CTA’s If this story got under your skin… good. The Devil's Ledger - April 27th

🎧 The Devil’s Ledger Week of April 27 Welcome back. Hope everyone had a great week. From graveyards to digital ghosts… this week’s stories don’t just cross boundaries— They erase them. 🕯️ The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week This week’s story starts where most stories should end… in a cemetery. In Pennsylvania, authorities uncovered a case of repeated grave desecration—mausoleums broken into, vaults opened, and human remains removed over time. Not impulsively. Not randomly. But methodically. Dozens of bodies disturbed. Generations of the dead… handled like objects. But as disturbing as that is, it’s not the part that lingers. Because alongside it is something quieter… and arguably more unsettling: The rise of what some are calling digital grave robbing. AI recreating voices. Faces. Personalities. The dead—brought back not symbolically, but functionally. Used in media, content, even advertising… sometimes without consent. It forces a question we’re not ready to answer: At what point does preservation become violation? 🐊 This Week on The Devil Within We head deep into the American South for a two-part series on the Fouke Monster—a swamp-dwelling cryptid out of Arkansas tied to a pattern of sightings that refuses to fade into myth. This isn’t just about something in the woods. It’s about proximity. Because whatever people were dealing with in Fouke… it didn’t stay out there. It came closer. 🏛️ On The Ides of April A new series begins on the assassination of William McKinley—a moment remembered less for the presidency it ended… …and more for the one it created. Because waiting in the wings was Theodore Roosevelt. This is the story of a single moment that reshaped the trajectory of American power. 🕵️‍♀️ On Criminal Mischief Carolyn Ossorio continues her deep dive into Hollywood—the Seattle-based bank robber who somehow became both criminal and folk hero. This week: the rise, the myth, and the reality behind the legend. Because the truth… Is always less cinematic. And more dangerous. 🎙️ On Finding Me Josh Wolf hit a few bumps last week. But he keeps showing up. And that’s the story. Follow Finding Me every weekday—because growth isn’t clean, and it isn’t linear… but it’s real. 🕶️ On The Slippery The newest Evio show is off to a strong start. Each week, hosts Nancy and Scott break down a new case involving scammers, grifters, and the people who thought they could get away with it. They didn’t. Catch up now and stay current. 🎬 This Week in Horror A major release from Warner Bros. Pictures: The Mummy, directed by Lee Cronin (Evil Dead Rise) and produced by James Wan and Jason Blum. This isn’t a remake—it’s a reinvention. A body horror take on the classic legend, following a family terrorized by their daughter after she returns… eight years after going missing. Grotesque. Violent. Uncomfortable. Exactly what you want. 📣 The Usual CTA’s If something in this episode stuck with you… Follow The Devil’s Ledger wherever you listen so you don’t miss next week.
Leave a rating and review—it matters more than you think.
And share the show with someone who likes their stories a little… off. Because the best ones usually are. We’ll see you next week… across the Evio Universe. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

What Was Made Here: The Legend of The Honey Island Swamp Monster, Part Two

Episode Two: What Was Made Here Every legend eventually reaches for an explanation. This episode challenges it. In Episode Two, we move beyond sightings and into something far more complicated — origin, adaptation, and intention. You’ve heard the story: A train derailment. Animals released into the swamp. Time, isolation, and evolution doing the rest. It’s neat. It’s plausible. And it might be completely unnecessary. Because the real question isn’t how something got there… It’s how something has remained. As we explore the long-term effects of isolation, environmental adaptation, and behavioral evolution, a different picture begins to emerge — one where elusiveness isn’t accidental… it’s developed. Where withdrawal isn’t fear… It’s strategy. And where the absence of evidence doesn’t mean nothing is there… It may mean something has learned how not to be found. Because if something understands its environment — and understands you within it — then every sighting stops looking like an accident. And starts looking like a choice. 🔥 On This Episode: • The myth of the train derailment origin story • Environmental adaptation and isolation theory • Behavioral patterns that suggest awareness • The difference between hiding… and choosing not to be seen • Why the lack of evidence may not mean what we think it does🔗 Listen + Follow 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcasts & Spotify 📺 Watch full episodes on YouTube (Evio Creative) 🌐 Visit: https://eviocreative.com 📲 Follow for clips, updates, and behind-the-scenes: Instagram & TikTok: @thedevilwithinpod 🔥 Support the Show Get early episodes, ad-free listening, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content: 👉 https://patreon.com/TheDevilWithinPodcast 📣 The Usual CTA’s If this episode got under your skin… good. Something in the Water: The Legend of the Honey Island Swamp Monster

🎧 The Devil Within Episode One: Something in the Water There are places that don’t just exist… They endure. In Episode One of The Devil Within, we enter the dense, shifting landscape of Honey Island Swamp — a place where visibility is unreliable, sound is suppressed, and movement feels… negotiated. It’s an environment built not for discovery, but for concealment. And in a place like that… Something could exist without ever needing to be fully seen. This episode lays the foundation of one of America’s most persistent cryptid legends — the Honey Island Swamp Monster. Through firsthand accounts, environmental analysis, and the now-infamous 1974 footage captured by Harlan Ford, we begin to examine a pattern that refuses to go away. Not because it’s proven. But because it won’t disappear. Witnesses describe something massive. Upright. Always at a distance. Never aggressive. Never chasing. Always withdrawing — but not in panic… in control. And that detail changes everything. Because if what people are seeing isn’t reacting… Then maybe it’s aware. 🔥 On This Episode: • The geography and psychology of Honey Island Swamp • The 1974 footage and why it still matters • Consistent witness patterns across decades • Sensory anomalies: sound, smell, and silence • The unsettling implication of controlled withdrawal 🔗 Listen + Follow 🎧 Listen on Apple Podcasts & Spotify 📺 Watch full episodes on YouTube (Evio Creative) 🌐 Visit: https://eviocreative.com 📲 Follow for clips, updates, and behind-the-scenes: Instagram & TikTok: @thedevilwithinpod 🔥 Support the Show Get early episodes, ad-free listening, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content: 👉 https://patreon.com/TheDevilWithinPodcast 📣 The Usual CTA’s If this episode got under your skin… good. The Devil's Ledger - Week of April 20th

🎧 The Devil’s Ledger Welcome back. This week, we dive straight into something unsettling… and end with something big. 👁️ The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week: The Miniwashitu A story out of North Dakota — where winter isn’t just a season, it’s a presence. The Miniwashitu isn’t something you see clearly. It’s something you feel. A shifting, ancient force tied to old traditions, said to emerge at the exact moment winter begins to loosen its grip. No dramatic entrance. No clear form. Just silence.
A different kind of quiet.
And something moving where nothing should be able to move. Livestock disappear. Tracks appear in frozen ground. And then… it’s gone. Spring follows. Always. Which raises the question:
Is it a story that explains the changing seasons… or something that causes them? 🔥 Across the Evio Universe 🎙️ The Devil Within
A two-part investigation into The Honey Island Swamp Monster — one of the most credible cryptid cases in America. Footprints, photos, and even 8mm footage. This one has receipts. 📜 The Ides of April

The Beast of Bladenboro - Part Two: The Creature That Science Couldn't Explain

🌑 Episode Two: The Creature That Science Couldn’t Explain At some point, the fear changes. It’s no longer about what’s out there. It’s about what’s watching. 🔥 In This Episode: The escalation from night attacks to broad daylight encounters Evidence suggesting intelligence beyond animal behavior Organized hunts involving over 100 armed men The moment hunters finally see it—and fire The creature’s impossible response 🔫 The Encounter Six men.
Clear shot.
Fifty yards. A bullet that should have ended it. Did nothing. And then— It smiled. Before turning, calmly, and walking into the river. Gone. 🧠 The Shift This wasn’t just a predator. It was something that: Studied human behavior Avoided capture deliberately Manipulated fear Chose when—and how—to be seen 🌊 The Disappearance Six weeks. Dozens of animals. Multiple witnesses. And then— Nothing. No tracks.
No bodies.
No explanation. 🎯 The Takeaway Some mysteries don’t fade. They stop. The Beast of Bladenboro: Part One - The Vampire of Bladenboro County

🎧 The Devil Within The Beast of Bladenboro 🩸 Episode One: The Vampire of Bladenboro County It begins with silence. A kind of silence that doesn’t belong in a place like Bladenboro, North Carolina. A farm.
Three dogs.
Gone—overnight. No struggle.
No blood.
Just small, precise puncture wounds… and bodies that should have contained something that was no longer there. 🧠 In This Episode: The first documented attacks in January 1954 Veterinary analysis confirming complete exsanguination The emergence of a pattern too precise to be random Eyewitness reports of a creature that didn’t move like any known animal The growing realization that this wasn’t natural predation 🧬 The Pattern Every kill the same. Healthy animals No defensive wounds No blood—anywhere Not feeding.
Not hunting. Something else. 👁️ The First Sightings A creature described as: Dog-sized… but wrong Front legs longer than the back A cat-like face Eyes that didn’t just reflect light—but seemed to hold it And movement that wasn’t running… But flowing. 🎯 The Takeaway This wasn’t chaos. EVIO Creative Presents - The Last Walk: The Assassination of Olof Palme, Part One

🎧 The Ides of April — The Last Walk Episode 1: The Most Dangerous Social Democrat in the World On a cold February night in 1986, Olof Palme walked home from the cinema without security — a decision rooted in principle… and one that would cost him his life. In Episode One, we trace the life of a man who became one of the most dangerous voices in global politics. Born into privilege, shaped by his experiences in America, and hardened by conviction, Palme rose to power — and used it to challenge the world’s most powerful institutions. He condemned the Vietnam War.
He supported anti-apartheid movements.
He confronted global power structures — publicly, unapologetically. By 1986, he had made enemies across governments, intelligence agencies, and shadow networks operating beneath the surface of international politics. This is the story of how a leader becomes a target. 🔗 Stay Connected Across the Evio Universe • 🌐 Official Website: https://eviocreative.com • 📸 Instagram: @idesofaprilpod • ▶️ Watch on YouTube: Evio Creative Network If you’re enjoying The Ides of April, follow the show, leave a rating and review, and share it with someone who appreciates stories where history refuses to stay buried. 🎧 The Devil’s Ledger — Week of April 13

🎧 The Devil’s Ledger — Week of April 13 This week, we begin with a return from the edge of the unknown. Our astronauts are home after their journey around the moon — a reminder of how far we’ve come… and how much we still don’t understand. And if they saw something out there… something they can’t explain… we’re listening. Back on Earth, a different kind of launch:
The Devil Within is now on Patreon.
A huge thank you to our early subscribers — you’re helping build something deeper, more ambitious, and more independent. This is just the beginning, and your feedback will shape what comes next. 👁️ The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week A quiet stretch outside Seattle. A name that sounds like folklore: Starvation Heights. But it’s real. In the early 1900s, Linda Burfield Hazzard operated a “health retreat” that promised healing through extreme fasting. What followed was something far darker — patients reduced to skeletal forms, convinced their suffering was part of the cure… until many of them died. Bodies buried on the property. Families left without answers. And today? People still avoid certain parts of the land. Not out of respect — out of instinct. Because some places don’t forget. 🔥 Across the Evio Universe 🎙️ The Devil Within
A two-part series on The Beast of Bladenboro — a canine-like predator that terrorized North Carolina. Livestock. Pets. Drained of blood. Witnesses include veterinarians, law enforcement, and locals who saw something they couldn’t explain. Vampire? Cryptid? Something else? 📜 The Ides of April
We begin a new series on the life and assassination of Olof Palme. A public killing. A global web of enemies. And a mystery that remains unsolved decades later. 🕯️ Taboo Treasures
Still dark. And getting darker. 🚨 Criminal Mischief
Carolyn continues her deep dive into “Hollywood,” the Seattle bank robber who somehow earned a Robin Hood reputation… despite keeping every dollar. 🎤 Finding Me with Josh Wolf
Still raw. Still honest. And now — impossible to ignore. The audience is growing, and for good reason. 🎬 This Week in Horror The Yeti arrives on streaming — a search and rescue mission in Alaska that collides with something ancient in the wilderness. Voices in the Void: Part Two - What Follows Us Up there...

🎙 Episode Two: What Follows Us Up There 👁 The WatchersAstronauts begin reporting: • Objects that move with purpose • Lights that respond to spacecraft • Formations that appear to observe human activity From Gordon Cooper’s Mercury mission to ISS footage— These are not random anomalies. 👉 They behave with intent. 🌠 Intelligent Observation Crew members describe: • Objects pacing spacecraft • Positioning for visibility • Appearing during EVA operations Not passing through space— 👉 Studying it. 🧠 Expanded Consciousness Some astronauts report experiences far beyond perception: • Seeing Earth across different time periods • Living other lives • Encountering luminous, “angelic” beings Not confusion. Not panic. 👉 Clarity. 🌍 The Aftermath Many astronauts return changed: • Spiritual awakenings• Depression and isolation • Lifelong obsession with what they experienced Because some things cannot be explained— And can’t be forgotten. 🎯 Episode Two Takeaway The greatest unknown in space may not be what’s out there— But what happens to us when we go there. 🧠 The Bigger Question Across both episodes, one pattern emerges: • Different missions • Different countries • Same experiences Presence. Voices. Observation. Transformation. 🎯 Final Thought We went into space looking for life. But the most unsettling discovery may be this: 👉 When you remove Earth… 👉 The mind doesn’t just endure the void. Voices in the Void: Part One - The Third Man in Space

🎙 Episode One: The Third Man in Space 👁 The Presence Soviet cosmonaut Georgy Grechko begins to feel something watching him. Not a hallucination. Not a passing thought. A presence. One that remains just outside his vision… but never fully disappears.🧠 The Third Man Factor Across missions and decades, astronauts report the same phenomenon: • An unseen companion • Footsteps with no source • Voices in empty modules A known psychological effect on Earth— But in space, it becomes something far more ambiguous. Not comforting. 👉 Observational. 🔊 Voices Without Bodies Apollo astronauts hear structured “music” on the far side of the Moon. Others report: • Whispering voices • Rhythmic tones • Sounds with intention In a vacuum—where sound cannot exist. 🎯 Episode One Takeaway The mind does not go quiet in space. It adapts. And in that adaptation, it may begin to perceive things we don’t fully understand. 🎧 Follow The Devil Within wherever you listen so you never miss an episode.

The Pope Lick Monster - Part Two: The Spreading Shadow

🌑 Episode Two: The Spreading Shadow At first, it was just one place. One bridge. One legend. But that’s no longer the case. Because what researchers—and law enforcement—have begun to uncover is far more unsettling: The Pope Lick Monster isn’t alone. 🧬 In This Episode: Evidence suggesting multiple creatures operating simultaneously Expansion of sightings across railroad crossings and multiple states Cases involving cell phone mimicry and digital voice replication The emergence of coordinated hunting behavior Scientific findings pointing to a previously unknown species 📡 The Evolution What began as simple mimicry has become something far more advanced. Voices pulled from memory. Voices pulled from technology. Even entire conversations recreated with terrifying accuracy. Victims aren’t just being called. They’re being targeted. 🌍 The Expansion Railroad lines. Isolated crossings. Places where escape is limited and timing is everything. The pattern is clear: This isn’t random. It’s strategic. The Pope Lick Monster: Trestle of the Damned

The Pope Lick Monster 🌉 Episode One: The Trestle of the Damned It starts with a bridge. A steel trestle stretching across a dark Kentucky valley—built for trains, not for people. And yet… people keep finding their way onto it. Late at night.
Alone.
Drawn there by something they can’t quite explain. For decades, the Pope Lick trestle has been the site of documented deaths—not random accidents, but eerily consistent incidents involving people who should have known better. Experienced outdoorsmen.
Railroad workers.
Law enforcement. All ending up on the tracks. All at the wrong moment. All claiming, in some form or another… That something called them there. 🧠 In This Episode: The history of the Pope Lick railroad trestle and its pattern of fatalities Eyewitness descriptions of a humanoid, horned creature The creature’s most disturbing ability: vocal mimicry Cases where victims were lured using voices of loved ones The phenomenon of psychological manipulation overriding survival instincts 🗣️ The Calling Voice Survivors describe it the same way: A voice in the dark. The Devil's Ledger - Week of March 30th

🎧 The Devil’s Ledger Week of March 30th Welcome back. And before we get into anything… A quick reminder: Don’t fall for any April Fool’s Day hijinks this week. Because in a world already full of misinformation, staged chaos, and things that feel fake but aren’t… We don’t need any extra help getting confused. 👁️ The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week There’s something happening in Austin. And it doesn’t feel like a festival. It feels like a gathering. Not of fans.
Not of hobbyists.
But of people who’ve seen something… and never quite came back the same. It’s called Strange & Extraordinary Fest. And on paper, it sounds harmless—panels, speakers, a marketplace. A celebration of the paranormal, UFOs, and cryptids. But look closer… And something shifts. Because this isn’t just storytelling. It’s convergence. Paranormal investigators.
UFO researchers.
Cryptid hunters. All in one place. All telling different stories… That somehow start to sound the same. Different experiences.
Same patterns. And the people telling them? They’re not performing. They’re remembering. 🔥 On The Devil Within This week, we begin a new series: The Pope Lick Monster. A story that exists somewhere between legend… and documented tragedy. For nearly 80 years, reports out of Kentucky describe a nine-foot, horned creature that lures people onto a narrow railroad trestle. Not by force. By voice. Witnesses claim it can mimic the voices of friends… loved ones… people you trust. And once you step onto that bridge— There’s nowhere to go. Because eventually… A train comes. 🗡️ On The Ides of April We begin a new series on the assassination of Anwar Sadat. A man shaped by war… Who chose peace. And in doing so— Became a target. From battlefield hero… to Nobel Peace Prize winner… To assassination in broad daylight. This is a story about transformation. And the cost of it. 🎭 On Criminal Mischief Carolyn Ossorio continues her deep dive into Hollywood—the Seattle bank robber who turned crime into performance. Disguises.
Charm.
Risk. He didn’t just rob banks. He entertained. And as this story unfolds, the line between charisma and inevitability begins to disappear. 🎤 On Finding Me with Josh Wolf If you’re not already following along—you should be. Finding Me with Josh Wolf is now over 60 episodes in, and something real is happening. Josh has found a rhythm. A daily cadence. And what you’re hearing isn’t a finished version of someone… It’s the process. A rare, honest look at change—while it’s actually happening. 🎬 This Week in Horror Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen A new horror miniseries created by Haley Z. Boston, executive produced by the Duffer Brothers. The story follows an engaged couple whose wedding begins to unravel in ways that feel… Off. Not chaotic.
Not random. Intentional. Like something is quietly moving beneath the surface. It premiered March 26—and early buzz suggests this is one that builds slowly… And then doesn’t let go. 🎙️ Follow & Stay Connected Follow all shows across Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Mother Earth's Children - Part Two : The Harvest of Souls

🔥 Episode Two: The Harvest of Souls By the summer of 1971, the transformation is complete. What began as a commune…
Has become something far more controlled.
Far more dangerous.
Far more final. On the summer solstice, Morrison tells his followers that Mother Earth is no longer satisfied with symbolic offerings. She wants something more. 🩸 In This Episode: • The escalation from ritual to human sacrifice • How Morrison used drugs, deprivation, and belief to override moral boundaries • The targeted selection of victims—and why they were chosen • The reality behind what followers believed were acts of transcendence • The investigation that finally exposed the truth 🚨 The Reckoning Three lives lost.
Dozens psychologically shattered.
And a leader who never saw himself as the villain. The trial that followed forced a confrontation with a question that still lingers: Where does spiritual freedom end…
And exploitation begin? 🧠 The Takeaway The search for meaning is human. But in the wrong hands— It becomes a weapon. 🎙️ Follow & Stay Connected Follow The Devil Within on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, and subscribe on YouTube for full episodes and exclusive content. 📱 Socials • Instagram: @thedevilwithinpod • Instagram: @idesofaprilpod • Instagram: @taboo_treasures • YouTube: Evio Creative Network • Website: eviocreative.com 🚨 Network Call to Action If you’re enjoying The Devil Within, make sure you’re following the entire Evio Creative Network. 🎧 The Ides of April — cinematic history at its most consequential

Mother Earth's Children - Part One: The Garden of Earthly Delights

🎧 The Devil Within Mother Earth’s Children 🌿 Episode One: The Garden of Earthly Delights It begins, as these stories often do, with something that looks like hope. Northern California.
The early 1970s.
A generation searching for meaning beyond institutions that no longer made sense. And a man who seemed to have the answers. Thomas “Brother Sun” Morrison—former seminary student, charismatic thinker, and architect of a new spiritual vision—offered something intoxicating: Connection.
Transcendence.
A return to what he called Mother Earth’s original wisdom. But what he built in the hills above Mendocino wasn’t just a commune. It was a system. 🧠 In This Episode: • The rise of Morrison and his Earth Mother philosophy • How educated, idealistic followers were drawn into a closed spiritual community • The subtle shift from guidance to psychological control • The use of ritual, isolation, and “sacred chemistry” to reshape belief • The first disappearance—and the moment everything changed 🌑 The Shift What begins as spiritual exploration slowly becomes something else. Control disguised as enlightenment.
Obedience reframed as transcendence. And rituals that move—almost imperceptibly—from symbolic… To real. 🎯 The Takeaway The most dangerous systems don’t look dangerous at first. They look like answers.

The Devil's Ledger - Week of March 22nd

🎧 The Devil’s Ledger Week of March 22nd — The First Day of Spring Spring has officially arrived. Longer days. Warmer air. The illusion—however brief—that things might be turning toward the light. But if you’ve been here before… you already know. Spring doesn’t just bring renewal. It brings ritual. It brings obsession. And sometimes—it brings something much darker. 👁️ The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week The Catskill Mountain Coven In 1952, deep in the Catskills, farmers began finding livestock arranged in precise, ritualistic patterns—geometric formations visible only from above. What followed was an investigation into a secretive group known as the Mountain Keepers—a collection of educated outsiders led by a former seminary student who claimed to have rediscovered ancient spiritual truths. Underground chambers. Ritual markings. Human remains predating known settlement. The group vanished. The site remains sealed. And locals still report that, each spring… something in the mountains wakes up. 🔥 On The Devil Within New Series: The California Hippie Murders Northern California. Communal living. Nature worship. An “Earth Mother” belief system built around fertility and balance. But behind the language of harmony, something twisted. What they called ceremonies… What they claimed were rituals of renewal… Were actually murders. Ritualized. Justified. And hidden in plain sight. 🗡️ On The Ides of April Series Finale: The Assassination of Yitzhak Rabin We close our series on the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin. The assassin. The investigation. The ideology behind it. And the documents that remain classified. Three decades later, the questions haven’t gone away. Because some events don’t end. They echo. 🎭 On Criminal Mischief New Mini-Series: “Hollywood” A Seattle bank robber known only as Hollywood. Not violent. Not subtle. But impossible to ignore. With disguises, confidence, and a flair for performance, he turned robbery into spectacle. It’s a wild story—with an ending you won’t see coming. 🕯️ On Taboo Treasures Dark this week. We’ll leave it there. 🎤 On Finding Me with Josh Wolf Finding Me has moved to Josh’s original YouTube home—the Hey Maaan channel. A bigger audience. The same mission: Show up. Stay accountable. Do the work. And the results are already showing. 🎬 This Week in Horror Ready or Not 2: Here I Come The sequel to Ready or Not goes bigger, darker, and deeper into its mythology. Rectory of the Damned - Part Two: The Investigators and the Inferno

Episode 2: The Investigators and the Inferno In Episode Two, the story of Borley takes a darker turn. After the death of the Bull family patriarch, new residents move into the rectory—and quickly discover they are not alone. The Foyster family arrives in 1930 expecting a quaint country parish. What they encounter instead is a full-scale poltergeist siege. Objects move on their own. Messages appear on walls. Personal items vanish and reappear in impossible places. And at the center of it all is Marianne Foyster, who becomes the focus of increasingly violent supernatural activity. What was once a passive haunting becomes interactive, intelligent… and aggressive. Enter Harry Price, Britain’s most famous paranormal investigator. Armed with cameras, instruments, and a scientific mindset, Price sets out to prove—or disprove—the haunting once and for all. What he discovers changes everything. Through a combination of supernatural communication and archaeological excavation, Price uncovers human remains buried beneath the rectory—evidence that appears to validate centuries-old accounts of a murdered woman seeking recognition. For the first time in decades… the activity changes. It quiets. As if something has finally been heard. But the story doesn’t end there. In 1939, Borley Rectory is consumed by a mysterious fire—one that burns with unusual intensity and behavior, destroying much of the physical evidence while leaving behind more questions than answers. Was the fire accidental? Or was it… the final act of a haunting that had finally run its course? 🎧 Follow & Share If you’re drawn to stories where history and the supernatural collide: ⭐ Leave a five-star review 🎧 Follow The Devil Within wherever you listen 📲 Follow along on Instagram: @thedevilwithinpod 📲 And across the network: @eviocreative Share this episode with someone who loves true crime, paranormal history, and dark mysteries. Rectory of the Damned: Part One - The House that Hell Built

🎧 The Devil Within The Rectory of the Damned Episode 1: The House That Hell Built This week on The Devil Within, we begin a two-part investigation into one of the most famous hauntings in paranormal history: Borley Rectory in Essex, England—often called “the most haunted house in England.” The legend of Borley stretches back centuries to a medieval priory once built on the same ground. According to local lore, a young nun named Marie Lairre was murdered after attempting to flee with a monk, her body secretly buried on the monastery grounds. When Reverend Henry Bull built Borley Rectory in 1863 on the ruins of that priory, strange events reportedly began almost immediately. The Bull family described sightings of a mysterious woman in white walking the grounds, unexplained footsteps echoing through empty corridors, and a ghostly figure whose nightly route became known as “the nun’s walk.” For decades, Borley became one of Britain’s most documented hauntings. But when the Bull family era ended, the activity would take a darker turn. 🎧 Follow The Devil Within wherever you listen so you never miss an episode. ⭐ If you enjoy the show, please leave a five-star review—it helps new listeners discover the podcast. 📱 Follow us on: Instagram & TikTok: @thedevilwithinpod Facebook: The Devil Within YouTube: Evio Creative And share the episode with a friend who appreciates a good mystery… or a good scare. EVIO Presents: The Last Handshake - Part One

🎧 The Ides of April The Last Handshake: The Assassination of Yitzhak Rabin Episode 1: A Man of War Learns Peace Our new series on The Ides of April begins with the remarkable life of Yitzhak Rabin—a soldier shaped by war who ultimately became one of the most controversial advocates for peace in modern Israeli history. Born in Jerusalem in 1922 during the British Mandate, Rabin grew up in a land already defined by conflict. As a young man he joined the Palmach, the elite Jewish strike force that would later form the backbone of Israel’s military, and spent decades fighting in the wars that defined the early years of the Israeli state. Over time Rabin rose to become one of Israel’s most respected military leaders and eventually Prime Minister. But by the early 1990s, after a lifetime of war, he came to believe that military victories alone could not resolve the conflict with the Palestinians. That belief led to one of the most iconic—and controversial—moments in modern diplomacy. In 1993, Rabin stood on the White House lawn and shook hands with Yasser Arafat, formalizing the Oslo peace process. The gesture stunned the world and deeply divided Israel. Supporters saw courage and possibility. Critics saw betrayal. As political tensions escalated and extremist rhetoric intensified, Rabin continued pressing forward with negotiations. The episode ends on November 4, 1995, at a massive peace rally in Tel Aviv where Rabin joined the crowd in singing the “Song for Peace.” Minutes later, he would be shot. 🎧 Follow The Ides of April wherever you listen so you never miss an episode. ⭐ If you enjoy the show, please leave a five-star review—it helps more people discover the series. 📲 And follow us on YouTube and social media for additional historical content and behind-the-scenes material. The Devil's Ledger - Week of March 16th.

🎧 The Devil’s Ledger Week of March 16 Welcome back to The Devil’s Ledger, your weekly look across the Evio Creative Universe—from paranormal history and true crime to the strange stories lurking just beyond the headlines. This week we lean into the arrival of spring, a season long associated with ancient pagan traditions of renewal, rebirth, and the quiet promise that the world can start again.  But first… 👁️ The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week This week’s story comes out of Florida, where prosecutors revealed disturbing details about two teenagers accused of plotting to murder a classmate as part of what investigators described as a “blood ritual.” Authorities allege the teens had been discussing the killing as a ritualistic act involving blood and symbolism. The plan, investigators say, wasn’t a spontaneous argument or schoolyard conflict—it was something darker and more deliberate. 👻 On The Devil Within This week we begin a two-part series exploring one of the most famous hauntings in British history: Borley Rectory in Essex, England. Often called “the most haunted house in England,” Borley Rectory became the focus of decades of ghost sightings, mysterious writings appearing on walls, phantom footsteps, and reports of a ghostly nun wandering the grounds. Priests, paranormal investigators, skeptics, and believers all attempted to explain the strange events reported there. And this week we begin unpacking the history behind one of the most infamous haunted houses ever recorded.  🕊️ On The Ides of April A brand-new historical series begins as well. This time we examine the 1995 assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin—a moment that reshaped modern Middle Eastern politics. Thirty years later, Rabin’s murder remains one of the most consequential political assassinations of the modern era. Our series explores how the assassination unfolded, the unanswered questions that remain decades later, and the lasting impact of a peace effort that ended in tragedy.  🎙 Around the Evio Network Both Criminal Mischief and Taboo Treasures are dark this week. But Josh Wolf continues showing up every weekday with his daily podcast journal: Finding Me Josh invites listeners into an honest exploration of self-discovery, vulnerability, and personal growth, sharing the small moments and realizations that shape the journey toward becoming a better version of ourselves.  🎬 This Week in Horror Our horror pick this week is undertone (stylized in all lowercase), a 2025 Canadian horror film written and directed by Ian Tuason. In a unique creative choice, only two characters appear on screen—while the rest of the story unfolds entirely through voices and recordings, making the film’s sound design the true source of its horror.  🌐 Across the Evio Universe Thanks for joining us for this week’s Ledger. If you enjoy what we’re building here: 🎧 Follow or subscribe to the shows you love ⭐ Leave a five-star review to help new listeners discover the network 📲 Share the episode with someone who appreciates a good mystery, story, or scare Because here at Evio Creative, the stories never really stop. The Castle of the Damned: Part Two - The Modern Awakening

🎧 The Devil WithinThe Castle of the Damned — Episode TwoThe Modern Awakening Some discoveries are meant to remain buried. After archaeologist Dr. Margaret Sinclair uncovered William de Soulis’s hidden chamber in 1987, her discovery electrified the academic world. The medieval texts and artifacts found beneath Hermitage Castle promised to revolutionize the study of occult practices in the Middle Ages. But the researchers who began translating de Soulis’s journals soon encountered something deeply disturbing. One by one, the scholars studying the manuscripts began to suffer strange and catastrophic fates. A research partner died suddenly after filling pages with symbols identical to those found in the necromancer’s journals. A linguist attempting to decode the texts suffered a complete psychological break. And Dr. Sinclair herself began documenting communications with the same supernatural entity that had once spoken to William de Soulis centuries earlier. The entity called itself The Teacher. And it was offering her the same bargain. In this episode we investigate: • The mysterious deaths and breakdowns of researchers studying the de Soulis journals• Dr. Sinclair’s growing obsession with supernatural experimentation• The terrifying moment when academic curiosity turned into spiritual vulnerability• The ritual Sinclair attempted to recreate William’s medieval pact• The disturbing evidence that the entity behind the bargain never disappeared When Dr. Sinclair was found dead in 1990, investigators discovered her apartment transformed into a ritual chamber—symbols carved into the walls and a lead-lined coffin built in the basement. But Sinclair’s ritual wasn’t designed to trap something. It was designed to release it. Today, Hermitage Castle remains closed following reports of unexplained activity and visitors experiencing strange psychological disturbances. And online communities continue to circulate fragments of the same journals that destroyed everyone who studied them. Because some knowledge doesn’t simply inform. It spreads. 🎧 LISTEN & FOLLOW If you’re enjoying the show, make sure you’re following the entire Evio Creative lineup wherever you get your podcasts — The Devil Within, The Ides of April, Criminal Mischief, Taboo Treasures, Finding Me with Josh Wolf, and more — so you never miss a new episode. ⭐ RATE & REVIEW Ratings and reviews genuinely help independent shows grow. Castle of the Damned: Part One - The Necromancer's Bargain

The Devil WithinThe Castle of the Damned — Episode One: The Necromancer’s Bargain Episode Overview In 1987, an archaeological team investigating Hermitage Castle in the Scottish Borders made a discovery that would disturb historians, archaeologists, and paranormal investigators alike. Hidden beneath the castle’s great hall was a sealed chamber, untouched for centuries. Inside they found ritual symbols carved into the stone, shelves of forbidden texts, and a lead coffin covered in Latin inscriptions. Something inside had been trying to claw its way out. And according to medieval records… it once belonged to William de Soulis. This episode investigates the dark legend of William de Soulis — a fourteenth-century nobleman whose obsession with forbidden knowledge transformed his castle into what historians now believe may have been a ritual laboratory for necromantic experiments. We explore: The strange library of occult texts inherited by the de Soulis family William’s documented experiments attempting to communicate with supernatural entities His alleged bargain with an entity known only as “The Teacher” The gradual transformation of both the man and the castle itself Reports of supernatural architecture within Hermitage Castle — rooms and corridors behaving impossibly The violent events surrounding William’s death in 1320 The extraordinary measures taken by monks to seal his body in lead and stone But the story does not end with his death. Because when archaeologists reopened the hidden chamber in 1987… the coffin was no longer sealed. Themes in This Episode: The dangers of knowledge pursued without wisdom Medieval occult traditions hidden within historical records The intersection of ambition, scholarship, and supernatural belief Whether evil is invited… or discovered The excavation of Hermitage Castle revealed far more than medieval artifacts. It may have reawakened something. And the people who studied the discovery would soon begin to pay a terrible price. 💼 SPONSORS 🛋️ RULA Online therapy that takes your insurance. The Devil's Ledger - Week of March 9th

🎙️ The Devil’s Ledger Week of March 9 Welcome back to The Devil’s Ledger, the weekly dispatch from across the Evio Universe — where we catch you up on everything happening across the network and occasionally ask the kinds of questions that make you realize nobody is really in charge of anything. For example… Daylight Saving Time. Really? Still? We’re still doing this? Let’s do better, government. This week on The Devil Within, we travel to Scotland and investigate one of the most ominous places in the entire United Kingdom: Hermitage Castle. For centuries this fortress has been associated with demonic possession, violent hauntings, shadow figures, and enough verified paranormal encounters to make even experienced investigators take a step back and say, “You know what… maybe we’ll just admire this one from the parking lot.” This is the castle that guards what historians call the bloodiest valley in Britain. And if the accounts are even half true, Hermitage Castle might be one of the most paranormally active places in Europe. That’s this week on The Devil Within. Meanwhile on The Ides of April, we conclude our series Son of the Blade. For more than two thousand years historians have been arguing about the untimely death of Alexander the Great. One of the greatest military commanders in human history conquers most of the known world by the age of thirty-two… and then suddenly dies... Over on Criminal Mischief, we’re proud to re-release Episode One of The Shadow Girls. For many listeners around the world, this was the podcast that first introduced journalist Carolyn Ossorio to a global audience. There’s a reason we’re bringing this episode back — and that reason will be revealed during the episode itself. So if you’ve never heard The Shadow Girls, or if you remember the impact it had when it first premiered, don’t miss this one. Taboo Treasures is dark for the week — but the show will return soon with more strange, rare, and occasionally unsettling artifacts from history. Meanwhile comedian Josh Wolf is — as they say — here all week. His daily podcast and journal Finding Me continues to explore his personal journey of self-discovery, creativity, family life, comedy, and the strange process of figuring out who we are while we’re still in the middle of becoming it. And finally, in horror this week we have a fascinating adaptation coming to streaming. The Long Walk — based on Stephen King’s 1979 novel. The premise is simple and terrifying. In a dystopian version of the United States, fifty teenage boys are forced into a televised endurance competition. The rules are brutally straightforward. Each walker must maintain a pace of three miles per hour. If they slow down, they receive a warning. Three warnings… and soldiers execute them. That’s The Long Walk, coming soon to streaming. EVIO Presents: Son of the Blade - Part Three

🎧 The Ides of April Episode 3 — The Death of the Impossible Man In this episode, we follow the final months of Alexander the Great — from the long return from India to the glittering capital of Babylon, where the most powerful man in the world was already planning his next conquest.  What begins as another banquet among generals soon turns into one of the greatest mysteries of the ancient world: a sudden fever, a rapid decline, and the shocking death of a king who seemed almost impossible to kill.  But Alexander’s death was only the beginning. With no clear heir and an empire stretching from Greece to India, the power he once held together begins to fracture. Generals maneuver, rumors spread, and suspicion quickly falls on those who stood to gain the most from his disappearance.  Was this the natural end of a man exhausted by years of conquest… Or the quiet removal of a ruler who had become too powerful to survive? In This Episode • The brutal desert march that nearly destroyed Alexander’s army • The political tension between Macedonian veterans and rising Persian elites • The fever that struck after a banquet in Babylon • The final days of the most powerful man in the ancient world • Alexander’s famous last words: “To the strongest.” • The immediate struggle for control of the empire • The first whispers of poisoning and conspiracy Historical Hinge Moment When Alexander died in Babylon in 323 BCE, he left behind the largest empire the ancient world had ever seen — but no clear plan for who would rule it. Within a few years, his generals would begin a series of brutal wars that reshaped the ancient world and shattered the empire he had built. Prayers for the Damned - Part Two

The Devil Within Prayers for the Damned — Episode Two: The Exorcism That Broke the Church’s Silence In August 1928, Father Theophilus Riesinger arrived at a secluded convent in Earling, Iowa. He believed he was performing an exorcism. Instead, he walked into a spiritual war that had been building for 105 years. Episode Two documents the most detailed and widely reported exorcism in American history — a twenty-three-day ordeal that tested the limits of ritual, endurance, and belief. This episode explores: Anna Ecklund’s condition upon arrival at the convent Reports of multiple entities speaking through her voice Supernatural strength, levitation, and unknown languages Psychological warfare against priests and nuns The emotional and physical toll on everyone involved A radical shift in strategy: instead of fighting the demons… allowing them to reveal themselves As the entities expose their methods and motives, a disturbing possibility emerges: Anna isn’t just possessed. She’s a spiritual anchor — the center of a network of damage spread over decades. The Turning Point Father Riesinger abandons traditional exorcism. Instead of resistance, he allows full manifestation — a dangerous gamble that ultimately reveals the limits of the forces inside her. On December 23, 1928, at 3:17 PM, Anna speaks in her own voice for the first time in more than a century. The voices are gone. But the victory comes at a cost. Themes in This Episode The psychological toll of prolonged spiritual conflict Institutional faith pushed to its breaking point The idea that some possessions are transformations, not conditions A haunting question: If suffering defines a person, what remains when it’s removed? Anna lived twelve more years after the exorcism — quiet, withdrawn, and described by witnesses as spiritually “translucent.” Saved. But never the same. Call to Action If this story challenged your understanding of faith, evil, and the human mind: Because sometimes the real horror isn’t possession… It’s the price of being set free. 📺 WATCH & SUBSCRIBE ON YOUTUBE You can now watch full video episodes, clips, and exclusives from all Evio Creative shows on YouTube. 👉 Subscribe to Evio Creative on YouTube and turn on notifications so you don’t miss new drops across the network. 📲 FOLLOW ON SOCIAL Follow for updates, visuals, and behind-the-scenes content: • @thedevilwithinpod • @idesofaprilpod • @eviocreative • @findingmewithjoshwolf (Instagram, TikTok & Facebook) ✉️ GET IN TOUCH Have a story, tip, correction, or something you think we should cover? Prayers for the Damned - Part One

The Devil Within Prayers for the Damned — Episode One: The Girl Who Wouldn’t Stay Saved At 3:17 AM, the screaming stopped. For twenty-three days, a convent in Earling, Iowa endured sounds that tested the limits of faith — inhuman voices, violent manifestations, and a woman whose suffering stretched back more than a century. But the story of Anna Ecklund didn’t begin in America. It began in a remote Austrian village… with a father’s betrayal. Episode Overview In Episode One, we follow the origins of what would become America’s most documented case of demonic possession. This episode explores: Emma Schmidt’s childhood in 19th-century Austria The abuse and trauma that preceded her first possession in 1823 Early exorcism attempts by local priests Strange phenomena: foreign languages, supernatural knowledge, violent reactions to sacred objects The role of occult practices allegedly performed by her father and a local witch The growing isolation of a family marked by fear, shame, and suspicion The Church’s early failures — and the long shadow those failures would cast As Emma becomes Anna Ecklund and emigrates to America, her symptoms disappear for years… until the darkness returns — stronger, more organized, and waiting. Themes in This Episode The intersection of trauma, faith, and possession Generational sin and spiritual consequence When religious intervention fails — and what that does to belief How a single case can ripple through communities, clergy, and institutions What Comes Next By 1928, Anna is sixty-nine years old. The Church prepares for one final attempt. It will take twenty-three days. And it will change how the Catholic Church understands possession forever. The Devil's Ledger - Week of March 2nd

The Devil’s Ledger Week of March 2 Winter is doing what winter does — and depending on where you live, it’s doing a lot of it. If you’re under 35 and living in the Northeast, this may be the coldest winter of your life. In parts of the Southwest, it might be the warmest. Here in Los Angeles, it’s been suspiciously perfect. Sorry to our friends back East. The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week Apparently, Bigfoot is alive and well… and wandering along power line clearings in the Upper Midwest. Multiple sightings, same week. Tall, broad, covered in dark hair, walking upright before disappearing into the tree line. Either it’s misidentification — or something out there really prefers utility access roads. On The Devil Within We begin a two-part series on the possession of Anna Ecklund, one of the most documented exorcism cases in American history — a story that may connect back more than a century and across an ocean. On The Ides of April Alexander reaches Egypt and starts naming everything after himself — cities, allies, probably his lunch — until his exhausted army finally refuses to follow him any farther toward India. On Criminal Mischief Carolyn covers the trial of Kouri Richins, the mother who wrote a children’s grief book after her husband’s death — and now stands accused of causing it. On Taboo Treasures The guys dig into the long history of executions — and how capital punishment has become one of the most politically charged debates of our time. On Finding Me with Josh Wolf Josh continues his daily pursuit of accountability, honesty, and becoming the best version of himself — one uncomfortable truth at a time. This Week in Horror The Bride! reimagines the Frankenstein story in 1930s Chicago, starring Christian Bale, Jesse Buckley, and Jake Gyllenhaal. Follow The Devil’s Ledger for weekly updates from across the Evio universe — and share it with someone who likes their news with a darker edge. Because sometimes the strangest stories aren’t legends. They’re the ones happening right now. 💼 SPONSORS 🛋️ RULA Online therapy that takes your insurance. Wings of Prophecy: Part Two - The Final Witnesses

The Devil Within Wings of Prophecy — Part Two: The Final Witnesses At 5:04 PM on December 15, 1967, the Silver Bridge collapsed into the Ohio River. In less than a minute, forty-six lives were lost. But in the days leading up to the disaster, the people of Point Pleasant believed they had been watching something — or something had been watching them. In Part Two of Wings of Prophecy, we follow the Mothman legend to its devastating conclusion, tracing the final sightings, the growing sense of unease across the town, and the tragedy that forever linked folklore with one of America’s deadliest infrastructure failures.  Mothman 2 As winter closed in, witnesses reported that the sightings were changing. The creature that once appeared suddenly and vanished just as quickly now lingered in plain sight — perched, watching, almost as if standing vigil. One of the final reported encounters came just days before the collapse. By then, Point Pleasant had transformed. National attention brought curiosity seekers, investigators, and skeptics. Businesses leaned into the legend. Others resented the spectacle. Beneath it all, anxiety spread — strange dreams, unusual animal behavior, and a growing sense that something was wrong. Then came the engineering reality. Unseen inside the bridge’s structure, a microscopic crack in a critical steel component had been growing for months — invisible to inspections at the time. Each passing vehicle added stress. Each day brought the structure closer to failure. On a December evening filled with Christmas shoppers, commuters, and families heading home, that hidden flaw reached its breaking point. The collapse was sudden. Catastrophic. Irreversible. In this episode:     •    The final reported Mothman sightings before the disaster     •    How Point Pleasant changed during thirteen months of national attention     •    The structural failure that caused the Silver Bridge collapse     •    Eyewitness accounts from the moments before and after the tragedy     •    How folklore and trauma became permanently intertwined in the community In the aftermath, the sightings stopped. The creature was never reported again. But the legend remained — not just as a monster story, but as a way for a grieving community to make sense of sudden, senseless loss. Because sometimes the mystery isn’t whether something supernatural happened. Sometimes the mystery is how people survive what did. 📲 FOLLOW ON SOCIAL Follow for updates, visuals, and behind-the-scenes content: • @thedevilwithinpod • @idesofaprilpod • @eviocreative • @findingmewithjoshwolf (Instagram, TikTok & Facebook) 💼 SPONSORS 🛋️ RULA Online therapy that takes your insurance. Wings of Prophecy: Part One - The Watchers in the Dark

The Devil Within Wings of Prophecy — Part One: The Watchers in the Dark Something was watching Point Pleasant. Before the headlines. Before the legend. Before the bridge fell. In Part One of Wings of Prophecy, we begin a two-part investigation into one of the most chilling and enduring mysteries in American folklore — the wave of strange sightings that gripped a small West Virginia town in the thirteen months before tragedy struck. The story begins on a quiet November night in 1967, when four young people driving near an abandoned TNT plant encountered something impossible: a towering, winged figure with glowing red eyes that appeared to follow their car at highway speeds. What they reported would become the first of dozens of sightings. And the beginning of something far bigger than a local ghost story. As word spread, more witnesses came forward. A respected barber described strange lights — and the disappearance of his dog. Residents reported massive shapes flying over roads, perching on rooftops, and watching from the darkness beyond town. Law enforcement took statements. A journalist arrived. The story spread. And slowly, the community began to divide — believers and skeptics, fear and ridicule, curiosity and dread. But beneath the growing legend was something deeper: A town beginning to feel watched. Studied. Waited for. In this episode:     •    The first terrifying encounter near the TNT area     •    Deputy Halstead’s investigation and the growing number of eyewitness reports     •    The arrival of reporter Mary Hyre and the national attention that followed     •    Strange animal behavior, unexplained lights, and escalating fear     •    How the legend of the Mothman took hold inside a community under pressure Because sometimes the most powerful monsters aren’t just what people see. They’re what fear does to a town. And while residents debated whether the creature was real… something else was happening in Point Pleasant. Something no one could see. A microscopic flaw inside the Silver Bridge — slowly growing, quietly weakening the structure that held the town together. Thirteen months later, that bridge would collapse into the Ohio River in less than sixty seconds, killing 46 people. And the question that still haunts the town remains: Was the Mothman a warning… Or was it simply waiting? 🎧 Follow The Devil Within so you don’t miss Part Two of Wings of Prophecy. ⭐ If this episode stayed with you, leave a review — it helps more people discover the show. 📲 Share this episode with someone who loves stories where folklore, fear, and reality collide. 📲 FOLLOW ON SOCIAL Follow for updates, visuals, and behind-the-scenes content: • @thedevilwithinpod • @idesofaprilpod • @eviocreative • @findingmewithjoshwolf (Instagram, TikTok & Facebook) And remember: Sometimes the most unsettling mysteries aren’t the ones we see coming… they’re the ones that unfold quietly, right in front of us. 💼 SPONSORS 🧥 QUINCE Luxury essentials at affordable prices. EVIO PRESENTS: Son of the Blade - Part One

The Ides of April — Son of the Blade The world didn’t change slowly. It changed in a theater… during a celebration… with a single blade. In Episode One of The Ides of April, we begin the story of Alexander the Great at the moment everything became possible — and everything became dangerous. When Philip II of Macedon, the most powerful ruler in Greece, is assassinated in front of a crowd, the future of the Greek world hangs in the balance. His heir is just twenty years old. Young. Unproven. Surrounded by rivals. What happens next is not hesitation. It’s speed. It’s violence. And it’s the beginning of one of the most extraordinary rises in history. In this episode, we follow Alexander as he secures his throne, eliminates threats inside his own family, crushes rebellion in Greece, and sends a message that will echo across the ancient world: the son is more dangerous than the father. From the destruction of Thebes to the crossing into Asia, the campaign moves with breathtaking momentum. Along the way, Alexander begins shaping something as important as his army — his legend. Because from the very beginning, this was never just a war. It was a performance of destiny. By his mid-twenties, Alexander will defeat the Persian Empire, march into Egypt, and push his army toward India. His soldiers will begin to call him favored by the gods. And he will begin to believe it. But as the poet Pindar warned: Creatures of a day. What is a man? Glory burns bright. And it never burns forever. In this episode:     •    The assassination that changed the ancient world     •    The brutal consolidation of power inside Macedon     •    The destruction of Thebes — and the warning it sent to Greece     •    Alexander’s first victories against Persia     •    The moment a young king begins to step into myth Why this story matters Alexander’s rise wasn’t inevitable. It was built on speed, ruthlessness, and a dangerous pattern: Risk. Danger. Victory. Every gamble worked. And when the world starts rewarding every risk… The most dangerous thing a leader can believe is that he cannot fail. Coming next Victory begins to change Alexander — his court, his army, and his sense of who he really is. He will adopt the customs of kings treated like gods. He will demand loyalty that feels like worship. And before long, the distance between Alexander and the men who once called him companion will grow so wide… That one of them will die by his hand. 💼 SPONSORS Rula patients typically pay $15 per session when using insurance.
