Ep 250: Beauty Faded And So Did My Loyalty

It is a fact that over time, people’s physical appearances are prone to change. Unfortunately, attraction based on aesthetics or “looks” often overshadow the substance of love in relationships. Ultimately, people often lose attraction for their partners because of frequent exposure to images and videos of the opposite sex via social media. As humans, we are inclined to compare and either consciously or subconsciously determine how our partners measure up to the standard. Some may argue that a “new normal” has been created, suggesting that media is reshaping the ideals of beauty in today’s society. With increased accessibility to this provocative content in the palms of our hands daily, do you believe that we are somewhat desensitized to our partners? In today’s episode, we share a video that states that men and women should be cautious about their visual intake and influences, in order to maintain their attraction to their partners. Do you agree? Episode 245: Real Life, Real Family

Our purpose is grounded in family, love, and faith." This quote from the Casey's upcoming book, set for release on April 16th, serves as a comprehensive guide for raising a family. This episode emphasizes the crucial importance of fostering trust with your children by always being truthful. It's essential never to lie to your kids, as dishonesty may seem like an easy solution but ultimately causes more harm than good. Parents must lead by example, and the Caseys share their own experiences on how this approach has positively impacted their family. Patience is vital in building trust, regardless of how long it takes to address issues. Often, parents lack the time to explain why certain actions are wrong. The Caseys also discuss their "family mission" statement, a set of rules everyone agrees upon to navigate their shared journey as a family. Does your family have a mission statement? Ep 243: You Hurt My Feelings...

During many of our upbringings, our parents or caregivers often spoke their minds freely regarding our intellectual, athletic, or artistic abilities. In other words, they gave us “the real”. In contrast, contemporary parents tend to adopt a more permissive approach, frequently neglecting to provide honest feedback about their children’s strengths and weaknesses in order to comfort them and inadvertently provide a false sense of security. Which one of these ideologies describes your parenting approach best? Are you a realist or a “Yes Mom”? Let's talk about it… 🗣️🗣️🗣️ We also get into the email of the week!!! Tune in 😜

Ep. 220: Work Wife, Or Something More???

Every week, Envy & Gia read a viewer/listener email 📧 that they find interesting. With such a high volume of emails, they decided to dedicate an episode just to answer some of your questions. Envy & Gia discuss the importance of trust and open communication. The second email asked if whether a wife should disclose her use of a sex toy to her husband? Gia believed in being open and honest with her partner, while Envy expressed his desire to know but wouldn't necessarily bring it up himself. Lastly, they addressed a listener's question about managing emotions when a partner works closely with members of the opposite sex. Gia emphasized the importance of trust and confidence in the relationship, while Envy admitted to struggling with jealousy. Overall, they emphasized the significance of effective communication and understanding each other's boundaries in navigating such situations.
