680. Jamal Wali Draws Gun on Fairfax County Police

He hates Americans, and he just tried to kill two of them. Just days before this lethal encounter, Jamal Wali was pulled over for driving on a suspended license. In 2018 he was charged with eluding and resisting. On April 23 'Today's the day' as Wali engaged with a Fairfax County officer on a stop and intended ultimate escalation against the officers, who ultimately were wounded by Wali. 679. Osean McClintock Gets Shot After Stealing Cop's Gun

Fountain Valley, California, the Fountain Valley Police Department responded to a suspicious person outside a middle school by a male subject without a shirt who appeared to scare a woman in car there. Officers located 26-year-old Osean McClintock, who matched the description provided by the caller. He refused commands to sit down and took off on foot. The officer chased McClintock through several parking lots. McClintock gained distance on the officer and the officer discontinued the foot pursuit. Without good cause to continue the chase, he radioed to others to let the suspect go. A deadly encounter ensued when the suspect met up with a female police officer nearby, who drew her weapon-- but then was disarmed by the suspect. 674. Deshawn Leeth's Last Crazy Ride

Earlier this month 30-year-old Deshawn Leeth crashed his vehicle on the turnpike. An Ohio trooper responded, but failed to recognize that Leeth was in a state of excited delirium. 673. Officer Involved Shooting of Dyshan Best

38-year-old Dyshan Best was asked a simple question. To step out of the vehicle for a pat search. Officer Erin Perotta of the Bridgeport Police Department was looking for a gun after responding to a call about a big fight. Best agreed to step out of the vehicle and be searched, but instead blasted past Perotta. She pursued on foot, joined by officer Yoon Heo. When Best made he way down an alley, he displayed the firearm that the officers had been looking for. A dangerous situation escalating and a weapon in Hand, Heo had to use lethal force to stop the threat. Now people unfamiliar with the danger and the weight of carrying a badge want to weigh in and say Best was taken down unnecessarily, and from behind, rather than admitting compliance was his safest option. In San Antonio, December 3, 2024, An officer attempted to talk to a male subject on the road. The subject ran away. The officer gave chase, and they ended up near a drainage ditch. 658. The Madison School Shooting

655. Home Invasion: Officer Involved Shooting of Brandon Durham

654. Excessive Force: OKC Police vs Lich Vu

Lich Vu had a mouth on him. The problem was his mouth was 70 years old. A tiny Asian man with bone cancer, Vu was willing to go jail rather than sign a citation for a traffic violation in October. So often habitual criminals choose to decide their fate at the time of arrest through flight and resistance. In Vu's case, he touched the officer. Instead of picking up another charge, like say, simple assault on an LEO, the officer pick Vu up, flipped him over and put him down on the ground like a hyper combo from Street Fighter II. Vu lost consciousness and was admitted to the hospital with brain bleeding, and a neck injur that prevents him from eating, drinking and taking medication orally. The officer is on paid administrative leave but the outlook on his future isn't bright. Will this be another huge setback for police?  Learn more about your ad choices. 653. The Arrest and Death of Daniel King

Daniel King, a 30-year-old man from Millville, New Jersey, died in the custody of New Jersey State Police troopers on July 9, 2023. Troopers responded to a 911 call from King himself at his residence, and upon arrival King told the trooper he wanted to remove some property from his home. Trooper Mark Allonardo seemed to be mediating a civil dispute before the situation became strange and escalated. King eventually bit Allonardo into the face, drawing blood and nearby civilians jumped into the fight to help the trooper. King was transported to a station where he later suffered a medical emergency which led to his death, and the case was eventually brought before a grand jury. Did the trooper act improperly? 642. BREAKDOWN: Looking Back At The Kyle Rittenhouse Case

Deadleg and Tyler give their takes on the landmark case and how Rittenhouse continues to be divisive despite his acquittal. Rittenhouse gained national attention at age 17 for shooting three men in Kenosha, Wisconsin—two fatally—in August 2020, amid protests following the police shooting of Jacob Blake. He had traveled to Kenosha during the unrest, and joined a group of armed people who said they were there to protect businesses. In a series of confrontations, Rittenhouse fatally shot two men who had tried to grab his gun, and injured another who had pointed a firearm at him. Rittenhouse was subsequently charged by Kenosha County prosecutors with multiple criminal counts, including homicide. Rittenhouse claimed self-defense at trial and was acquitted in November 2021. 638. BREAKDOWN: Cops Shoot Man With Fake Gun

Charles Sharp III of Mantua New Jersey called 9-1-1 because he caught two men red-handed breaking into his car-- at least one of them had a gun. Sharp confronted the men, tried to scare them off with fireworks, but that didn't work. Sharp told the dispatcher that the suspect had a gun and so did he. The burglars beat it before the cops showed up, who then saw Sharp outside with his firearm. A police officer from Mantua Township hopped out of the car, gave a suspect a command to drop the weapon, and then the officer discharged his weapon killing the man, who turned out to be Sharp, the homeowner and 9-1-1 caller. Things got worse still-- as it turns out Sharp had armed himself with a fake gun.   Learn more about your ad choices. 634. BREAKDOWN: Awesome Louisville PD Carjacker Takedown

Louisville Metro Police Department officer Brandon Brinkley when an off-duty officer called for backup. Kentucky State Police had been in a pursuit with a vehicle which crashed. The driver was captured, but an armed passenger got away on foot. Brinkley tracked the suspect down through a Walmart, where the suspect had changed clothes, and tried again to run on foot. Brinkley saw the suspect reach for his waistband and attempt to carjack minivan in the driveup pharmacy line. The engine revs and the van bears down on Brinkley, but then he and others effect an arrest you have to see to believe.
