I mean, my mother's insisters, these verses that I have just read, they commence with a warning regarding hellfire, regarding jahanam, regarding the punishment that awaits the evil people in the year after.

So Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says, in the Al-Muji Rimina, fi aadabi jahanam al-Khalidun.

Indeed, the criminals will be in the punishment of hell, abiding eternally.

Now, if we take a look at the term criminals, it is referring here to those who decided to associate partnership with Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, worship with Allah other deities, transgress turn away from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala.

As for those who have believed in Allah the Oneness of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala, and they've done bad deeds, perhaps Allah will forgive them.

And perhaps they will come a day.

Either they will not see the punishment of jahanam of hell because Allah through his mercy may forgive them.

And this is something interesting, when a person has done good and bad and they've worshipped Allah alone, their deeds will be put on a scale.

And the good on one side, the bad on the other.
