So in regards to Zigg Ziggler's story about the pump, I asked listeners for anyone who has started a business.

How would you describe the amount of effort you put in from inception until you made the first dollar?

We got a lot of replies, testifying, of course, to the big effort their businesses needed on the front end.

And I read a few comments and then Tom and I talked through the need for perseverance in our efforts,

but we segmented it out to include the reality that sometimes we do need to change tactics.
