What the last I think, in my opinion, with the last 18 months is shown, is that you've got a lot of people who, at some point,

have been involved in local church whose lives have absolutely nothing like the life of Jesus.

And, I mean, that should be really, I think, jarring and disturbing to leaders of churches and the things that they have been doing.

Like, are you, are you, are we a social club, with a little bit of, like, Christian feel goodness sprinkled on top, or are we something different?

And I think we just have to be really honest about whether or not the things that we're doing are designed to do what we need them to do.

Innovation is our focus today and what you heard at the top of the show was Doug Paul, author of Ready or Not, Kingdom Innovation for Brave New World.

You heard him at the top of the show talking about churches today as we discussed their necessary need for massive innovation, but so far they seem to be looking at it poorly in our opinion.

But the point of the show is you, and I take aim at innovation being counterintuitive for all of us.

We work and strive so hard to find what drives success in our lives and businesses, and we want to say, yes, we got it, and then reap the rewards.

Which we can and do for a time, but in today's world, especially for business, things just are going to change.

Others are going to innovate and threaten what we provide and we risk being eclipsed and even being made obsolete.

Even in our personal lives, what we find produces success is often going to plateau or Wayne.
